  1. Oh! Another scathing retort from IMB. I consider myself pwned. For I now see the error of my ways. I cannot be passionate about the Cubs and ever hope to achieve the maturity of IMB. For his month-long ban a few months ago has made him wiser. Teach me, o great one. Maybe I can harass other posters via IM like you did. Perhaps that'll make me as cool as you. well, you'll never be as cool as me, so you can toss that dream out the window right now. as far as "harassing posters via IM" that's not my style. your first paragraph was spot on, though. Milton Bradley has been pretty much exactly what I expected. Actually he's been on the field more than i thought he would be. I wouldn't shed a tear if the cubs moved him in the offseason, though i think his treatment has been a little unnecessary to this point.
  2. can we get back to where erik throws all caps hissy fits every time a starting pitcher walks two batters in a row, yet is telling milton to grow up and act like a man?
  3. I don't buy that at all. The media reported the truth about Bradley's history. Maybe we should have listened. They didn't make anything up about him -- he's been a cantankerous jerk everywhere he's been. Did you expect the writers not to question whether he would be a good fit or whether he was worth the headaches? This. There's a reason he's been through so many different teams in his career. Nobody wants to put up with his crap. Except for all of his teammates that loved him. Since ya know, he gives his all and tries to win every game. Just seems odd that you can get all pissy and offended that Milton is complaining about the fans or the umps, oh grow up Milton, stop complaining Milton!! How bout you grow up? How bout you stop complaining about how a guy carries himself? Why does it bother you that he's upset by fans not liking him? Why does it bother you that he gets pissed about a bad strike zone? Why does Milton have to be this virtuous individual and you can go on season over rants around the 2nd week of the season and do nothing but pout about virtually everything? oh my god i love this post so much love it so much my heart skipped a beat
  4. Jennings and Jacobs. I think Jacobs will get more carries this year with Ward out of town, while Westbrook will see his role diminished. The Eages like McCoy and they want Jackson and Maclin to get the ball more often.
  5. I'm talking about the way he carries himself on the field. He's really good, and that's the shame because I hate jackasses that are also really good. Some people get off on jerks who can back it up, but I find it very annoying. Rivers and Delhomme (with the constant whining) are the two QBs I least enjoy watching because of how they act on the field. On the other hand, I want to hate Brady because I can't stand the Patriots, but there's really nothing to hate about Brady. oh, i gotcha
  6. lol, if rivers is a bitch, he's a pretty awesome bitch sounds like a weird thing to say, jersey
  7. you know what's even crazier? i saw him pitch in a [expletive] minor league game while on the DL for a bad back. A MINOR LEAGUE GAME! GET YOUR HEAD ON STRAIGHT, ZAMBRANO.
  8. holy [expletive] ok this dude is a legit fielder
  9. we didn't let derosa go, karros... jesus, this B team is terrible
  10. give him a break, he's still stunned they canceled the negro leagues
  11. http://espn.go.com/chicago/columns/blog?post=4415361&name=levine_chicago Oh God I hope not. Wrigley does not need a jumbotron. Call me old fashioned. how many games at wrigley have you been to in your life? im struggling to figure out why an out-of-towner cares if there's a jumbotron
  12. [expletive] ned colletti?
  13. russell martin only has 4 HRs? what happened
  14. holy crap, mark brunell is still in the league
  15. i'd rather not see any pictures of him looking sad; i don't want to place a human face on my hatred
  16. That's what I said. This seems like a case where the rich pro athlete sure didn't receive any breaks. This is funny because I read both of these posts as if you were talking about Brett Favre's 2-year deal, and Jersey's post confused the hell out of me.
  17. but pierre was lefthanded and fast and he sucked out loud
  18. what is the most walks in a single season in cubs history? anyone know?
  19. love it
  20. come on cash, no walks no walks no walks
  21. Yowza
  22. I think they're gonna hang on to him. He's been decent since he took over. If there is a GM spot opening, I suspect Rizzo would take that job to take a "lesser role" with Washington. Personally, I think Washington should have kept Rizzo, but.... would you like to try this post again
