  1. be honest... how many bulls games have you actually watched this season? 2? 3? rose's defense is definitely passable rose is closing in on deron and cp3 quickly. i think one year from now, he'll either be tied with them or pass them. let's not forget about the age difference here. paul and deron have pretty much plateaued. rose keeps getting better and hasn't reached his ceiling yet. i can't wait to see what numbers he puts up when boozer comes back (for 6 weeks) i was really just screwing around. i only catch glimpses of the games on adthe, but judging by nothing other than box scores, other PGs struggle against the bulls. some of that is thibs/adams, but rose is responsible for at least some of it.
  2. rose will never break into the deron williams chris paul gruesome twosome until he learns to play something remotely resembling passable defense. the amar'e stoudamire of point guards. D'Errick Rose.
  3. the sixers suck so badly. i hope we trade iguodala since he's a good player and has some value as a solid scorer and very good defender. we're not going anywhere this year or the next couple of years; get some draft picks and young players and tank the season. Rumors of Iguodala to Dallas are floating around. Wish the Bulls could get him, but Deng is the only salary that can match, and the Sixers don't want a 4-year contract on their roster. i think he would fit perfect in OKC, too. But I don't think there's a way to make the salaries work, unless they want Harden and Krstic. I mean, it is the Sixers, so who knows. Igoudala would be a better fit than Harden for the Thunder. watching how he fit in with westbrook and durant this summer just made me drool

  9. missouri and kansas do not recruit even remotely the same caliber of players. kind of pointless to debate professional track records.
  10. the spin/smash on gallo might have been even better. i can't believe he got more athletic after college. some of the stuff he did then, i just thought he was at his peak
  11. so many good memories of the glory year of OU basketball.
  12. still too close to call, but im thinking phillies rangers would be good
  13. Harrison Barnes, even tonight's 0-fer aside, has been pretty disappointing so far.
  14. on behalf of oklahoma, i would like to apologize for that abortion. but, still
  15. also, what i learned from this experience is do not google image search "sleeping man"
  16. Naturally, when something like this happens, there are going to be reactions like yours. There's also going to be a ton written in the blogoshpere. Here's some of it. Some of the pieces have link's to Dejan's twitter account which is the only place he talks about it. (He usually takes off from the end of the season until the winter meetings.) IF you're only going to read one of them, read the first. http://www.thisisgettingold.net/2010/11/defending-dejan.html http://whygavs.com/201011161461/pittsburgh-pirates/november-2010/small-town-bias-and-awards-voting.html http://www.bucsdugout.com/2010/11/16/1816882/kovacevics-inclusion-of-neil-walker-jose-tabata-enriched-discussion http://pittsburgh.sbnation.com/pittsburgh-pirates/2010/11/16/1817002/dejan-kovacevic-rookie-of-the-year-jason-heyward-neil-walker-jose-tabata jesus, what kind of idiot puts white text on a black background

  18. why in the word would we trade soto in a deal for upton yes, let's considerably weaken like our one position of strength for like 0.2 wins or whatever. great call.
  19. chris paul werd rose still hasn't been quite efficient enough to be in that conversation just yet... he needs to get to the line more to finish his arrival not that rose hasn't been great, just paul has been better. rose's usage rate is sky-high, like top 5 in the league.
  20. chris paul
  21. god, what a fun 24ish hours this has been
  22. every time i read about the bulls' defense going hard, i take a long look at a picture of ron adams on our bench last year and sigh
  23. isn't he having the worst season of his career? I just can't figure out what the hell anyone was thinking
  24. Umm. No! I give Hendry lots of credit for the mediocrity of the Cubs. This. A lot of the Cubs problems can be blamed directly on poor personnel moves by Hendry. So could a lot of the successes... The Cubs in the '00's have not been mediocre in comparison to previous decades everyone but like, the pirates have not been mediocre in comparison with our 80s and 90s teams.
