did you watch hard knocks? he looks like a 7th-year senior frat guy who's still putting on 10 pounds of beer weight a year. i swear to god, he has to be the most unlikely looking football player in the league. speaking of which, if you want to see unlikely, try and find tom brady's combine pics. he was in worse shape than the old farts i run pickup ball with.

what? Ed Werder was saying something about him not getting paid. I guess only if they put him on the injured list for the season. He wouldn't get paid if he just quit/retired But if he goes on the injured list for the rest of the season he doesn't get paid either right? how could you think this is correct

i mean, no offense, because i can understand looking at his stats and being pissed that he shoots less FTs than the other superstars in the league. But either there's been a direct mandate for three seasons to keep derrick rose and only derrick rose off the FT line or there's something else going on. what's more likely?

uhhh, yes. it's right. Rose gets to the paint and is so athletic that he avoids contact more than other guards that just straight-line it to the goal and draw contact. he's athletic enough, like top 1% of the entire league, that he gets around it.

the "why doesnt rose shoot more FTs" meme here is hilarious. Have you actually watched him play? he shoots jumpers and when he gets to the paint he works hard at not creating contact.
