he barely shoved downie it looks like. too bad downie couldn't really get a taste of his own medicine, but laraque was smart to hold up. maybe a 1 or 2 game suspension, downie definitely knew he was coming and put himself in that position while playing the puck. laraque definitely held up, if he went full out downie would be in the hospital.

if anyone can, it would be the giants. prollly the best pass rushing team in the league (except maybe indy when healthy?). i think that will determine this game, along with eli's decision making. if the giants win both those they have a good chance of winning. of course how likely is that? pats should sitll win. EDIT: also, brady is great when given time, prolly as good as peyton. but under pressure he is significantly worse than peyton decision making wise, its definitely the pats weakness, luckily they have an AMAZING O-line to protect him, and are willing to go mass protect to let him go to work on D's

they'll slow down once the alien departs... the alien that has taken over the body of ty conklin and turned him from a mediocre AHL player to a brick wall. he was never a mediocre AHL player, he was always at least a backup in the NHL

And they gave the packers a terrible spot which was only reversed after a challenge. They have made bad calls on both sides. Yes but that call can be challenged. Obvious DB interference can't be. Even the announcers are basically saying they could be called but aren't and the seahawks just have to deal with it Come on man, Green Bays offense is destroying Seattles D right now, and it has nothing to do with the refs. Outside of the first 3 mins of this game, Seattle has basically had their asses handed to them. that doesn't change the fact that green bay has adopted the NE model of pass D: if they are better than u, commit a penalty on basically every down and count on the refs not having the balls to call the penalties

You know they played Texas last year. And play I wanna say USC next year. And that effected 2007, how? Sure sounds like you're implying OSU never plays anyone out of conference. They didn't in 2007 and will play 1 BCS team in 2008 out of conference. After USC kills them they will still win the Big 10 and get a chance to play in the BCS big game and prove they don't belong. i see, so when you realized the fact they do schedule premier programs in the OOC schedule, you simply say they will get blown out and that will further prove how much big ten sucks. just like they got blown out by texas, right? and man miami took them to town in that NC game.
