I was at a wedding all weekend so I didn't have a chance to post, but good god did we dominate Curry. I thought we'd beat them and semi handly, but not the way we did on Sat... The Big Ten is playing really well this year Minnesota and Mich St big wins as well

To be fair, this is kinda a big deal. I mean he is really throwing Kelvin under the bs here. I know coach wanted them to stop doing drugs, but not if it meant us not winning games. Also am I the only one who thinks this is more than just pot? I doubt very much that Eric would have thought pot was such a big deal. No way he's referring to just pot. You wouldn't think so. But I've known more than a few young athletes who were completely overwhelmed when they realized some teammates smoked pot. Come on Gordon played with the highest level talent every off season in high school. One of those guys he was always playing with was Michael Beasley. There is no way that he didn't know Beasley was a pothead. This is something bigger than just pot. Yeah me too. A lot of basketball players college and obviously NBA smoke pot. I think there has to be more with it something worse than pot.

Plus Rose has been struggling lately, and the Bulls are 3-10 on the road this year (9-3 at home). This is going to be a slaughter. We already don't match up well with this team to begin with. Celtics 102 Bulls 78 Good pick on the score...I see like a 40-10 or something in the first half Thiis game will be the one game nobody expects the Bulls to win, and they win. Can't explain, but I think the C's come out flat, and the Bulls win at the buzzer. I don't think the C's ever come out flat. They take no games for granted and seem to play at a high level every game. They don't want to lose. Ever. I could see maybe coming out flat for some games late late in the season when there are some injuries and players are tired, but only 26 games into the season. I'm pretty sure they won't come out flat right now

If you are not a die hard Bears fan, you would think Tommie had a solid season. 5 sacks for a DT is pretty good. Yet we all know better. Who is the first alternate for TE and C, my only legit beef with what is presented above. The only alternate/s I'd say that are worth even a reserve spot are Maynard and possibly Olsen depending on who he was picked over

Not the only but pretty much. One Falcons and Bucs win in the last 2 games eliminates the Bears from the WC. And I think the Falcons play the Rams and the Bucs play the Raiders in Week 17. So Like I said we basically have to go 2-0 to make it and if we go 2-0 and the Vikes go 0-2 we are guaranteed in right?

I thought no one. It's just nice validation for up and coming programs. It probably doesn't matter to you because UCLA is always ranked and is always a lock for the Tourney lately. But for a team like Northwestern, who hasn't been ranked since 1969, I would think it would be a neat level of accomplishment for them and a sign that people are noticing. Smaller things are cool about it as well. When they are showing score on ESPN during the week, your team shows up because they are ranked. A lot of the online sites for following games only have "Game Tracker" for games with a ranked team involved. Stupid stuff like that. I realize I took it on another tangent, but there is some value to the CBB rankings. Well, I wasn't referring to actually being ranked vs. not (especially for a program like NU which has had so little basketball success and even "also receiving votes" is a huge accomplishment). Northwestern and Purdue are in much different places and rankings shouldn't be much of a concern to a Purdue fan. I'm sure it doesn't matter to me quite as much as him but it still matters. People gripe about the rankings all over the country. I'm hardly in the minority in being annoyed with them. Andy griped sometimes last year about them and our roommate who is an IU fan did too. It's a sign of disrespect when you are ranked lower than you should be. Plus when it comes to rivalries I hate when I get told, "We a top 10 team and you not." Not necessarily that quote but something like it. HA is that a picture of the new renovations there doing for Mackey? I actually did a news story on the local news about it. They look pretty awesome Yeah I wanted a non player photo because everyone has player photos. The renovations won't be here anytime soon but when they are done raising the money and getting it built it will be one of the best in the country. I'm Overcompensating ridiculous to look at the specs. I interviewed one of the higher athletic advisors there it's supposed to be like 72mil project

Why should Avery be banned forever? He shouldnt have even been suspended. Of course Dallas should have never signed him to that ridiculous contract either. He said that another player was taking his sloppy seconds...This is the most ridiculous suspension ever no, it's really not. as much as initially i thought it was a crappy suspension, for a guy with his history it makes perfect sense. he sought out the media to say stupid garbage and he got in trouble for it. if anyone had a job with access/an obligation to talk to the media, and you sought them out to say that, you'd at the very least be suspended. possibly more. given his history, the suspension ultimately makes sense. I guess you could suspend him, but they are making entirely to big of a deal of it for sure....
