    thats all i was trying to say he was the best available hes not great but hes an average RF and he was the best available besides Giles who we werent going to get.

    Aight whatever you guys clearly don't understand my point how about we trade for some unrealistically good RF and then we can say that we have a productive RF. We have Barrett, Lee, and Rameriez who are all All-stars already, jauque jones was cheap and is pretty good. He was the best available on the market and theres nothing else we could have done to improve it unless we made some unrealistic trade. So unless you can prove that wrong I don't understand why you guys say it was that bad of a pick up.

    I voted for Goerge Mason cause I just love there story. Really though I think its LSU vs. Florida in the championship and Florida wins it all.

    I guess I am then because im someone who is realistic and knows we can't have a all-star studded team. So when we have an average to above average right feilder Im ok with it. sorry but thats the way I feel.

    Burnitz was better than alot of guys in our starting line up. We didn't have much more to play with out there and I think we got more out of what I expected out of him. To add to that I think that Jones is the same way and if he puts up those same numbers they aren't to bad.

    oh agree about that. I really think you guys think to downly about Jaque Jones he really wont be that bad hes like Burnitz with more speed and a better fielder. I liked Burnitz last year he wasnt bad and was a cheap right feilder.

    On the postive point though we had two solid bullpen pick ups and Pierre was an excellent pick up and Jones won't hurt us.

    We needed pitching and we didn't get pitching. If we didn't rely on Prior and Wood again and picked up another starter yes are team would be better. Were improved, but still not gonna do anything against the Cardinals and will compete against the Stros and Brew Crew.

    He earned alot more than a K per ining. I know it's the minors, but for any team those look like great numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank god. I had a bad feeling if he made the squad. He's a dusty guy and hes not a good guy so I didn't want him playing. He used to be good dont get me wrong, but thank god he retired.

    definitly not a weak lineup any lineup with a 3 and 4 hitter that we have it is not a weak lineup that is ridiculous.

    I'd rather have Kyle and see if he can progress while being a third stringer. Agreed. We already have a veteran QB on the team, no need for Blake anymore. However, go into camp with all four of them, incase one gets hurt. Agreed it wouldn't hurt to have all four espcially in case of an injoury. I hope kyle out plays blake though we dont need another old guy.
