  1. I agree about the CB being to expensive. I'm just sayin if he is cheap which he won't be, but its a dream. Id love Clements, but if hes being franchized that sucks. Pope and Randle El would be wonderful and I think that is very realistic. Hopefully theres some CB out there we could ad.
  2. His on base percentage doesn't matter when hes putting up those power numbers. You guys care way to much about OBP and stuff like that isnt't a big part of a power number hitters part on a team. He also can run and is a 30/30 guy which Nefi can't do. Believe me he will have a much better and productive year this year than Murton.
  3. I don't know what you guys have against Soriano so much. I'm sorry I'd take someone who hits 30 homeruns and 100 RBIs any day. You have to realize hes not going to be a 2 hitter he'll be our 5 hitter. Those numbers look pretty damn nice at that position. If all we have to give up is Murton I'd take it in a second. By the way there is no way in hell Murton will hit 30 dongs. First off hes not going to play that much because we all no Dusty won't let him. I'd take my chances on Soriano striking out alot if we can add those power numbers into our lineup. This trade won't go down anyways though. At least it won't if we only give up Murton or Walker.
  4. I like your rotation Wolf I just disagree with Zambrano and Buehrle.
  5. Oh I forgot to mention that Buehrle has alot more wins than Zambrano. He has less walks then Zambrano in two more seasons. He also is one if not the best pitcher in going deep into games. Don't get me wrong Zambrano is one of the best in the NL and probably will be a pitcher when all is said and done. Right now though Buehrle is the better pitcher. Oh and sorry about the grammar sometimes I don't pay that much attention! ha
  6. oh i would also like to mention that buerlhe does have a ring and was part of the 4 CG span clinching them into the World Series. I think that might give him the nod over Zambrano.
  7. Think what you wanna think, but Buerlhe is better just my personal opinion. Zambrano if hes not [expletive] should better by the end of his career though. And for you that what my full rotation Buerlhe Zambrano Prior Garcia Contreras
  8. It's as simple as this Buerlhe is better because he has been consistent for his whole career. Thats it Zambrano could be a better pitcher when it all comes down to it. For once though please know what you are talking about and don't just give a Cubs player the edge because hes a Cubs player. That statement that Zambrano is eqaul to him in statistics is def wrong because last time i checked Beurlhe has what 3 or 4 seasons on him. Also i think that the number 5 spot is vacant because any of those guys depending on injuries could fit in there. Lastly Freddy Garcia is a better pitcher than Wood, Maddux, Rusch, Williams, Hill, Miller, Mccarthy, Garland, and Vasquez. Look at there numbers excluding Maddux against his hes much better im sorry I said 15 hes around there every year.
  9. Buerlhe: Best most consistent for the longest time Zambrano: Could be better than Buerlhe, but not yet Prior: Could be the best in Chicago if he's healthy Garcia: is a consistent 15 game winner 5th is a crap shoot Wood if healthy is on there, but never is. Contreras was great at the end of last season, but is inconsistent in his career. Garland has only one good season under his belt. Vasquez was good for Montreal and had one good year with the Yanks, but since then inconsistent. Mccarthy young could be the best of all the guys in the crap shoot, but hasn't proved it since he hasn't pitched enough.
  10. I meant the Goergia TE Pope my bad i couldn't think about it off the top of my head. Yeah first off Randal El told Bores and Burnstein that what a top his teams if he doesn't resign ( thats orgasmic if he doesn't resign). Law i'd love he's the type of guys we need at the number 1 CB spot over Peanut. Law at CB,Vasher, and the Nut at the 3 nickleback CB looks very nice. Law is very expensive though so thats the only downside.
  11. I agree though I didn't see some of the posts before me id prefer Craig Wilson if we would'nt have to give up much for him.
  12. I think Juan Gon would be a solid addition. Like others have said hes a little risk high reward kind of guy. I have a question though whats up with the insane amount of veteren leadership on the bench. Ha ha i just find it weird that if we get Juan Gon we'd have at least 3 guys that are over the age of 35 on the bench. Im also wondering if he ever took riods cause since the questioning he hasn't done [expletive]. He has been injured though so that might be the reason as well.
  13. It's from American Idol Secrest singing off! ha, but im mad when i sign off as well!
  14. We need at TE, a number 2 WR/KR/PR, and another CB preferably a veteren. TE=Fasano the Notre Dame guy or the Virginia guy are supposed to be late 1st round picks CB= no idea we'd need to make a trade or hope for a free agent i dont know whos avaiable WR/KR/PR or QB  = Atoine Randle El Thats what im hoping in the offseason
  15. I also can see the Boilermakers upsetting someone since I have seen them play. Even with most of our losses they played well there just a bad team when it comes down to the end of the game. If they get up big enough though it equals a win AKA Wisconsin and Michigan. Well see though.
  16. There not overrated in respect to there record. I'm saying that when its gets down to tourney time I'd take either UofI, MichSt, or Ohio State to make it farther in the tourney. That's All
  17. I agree with both. Wilson and Matos are better back up OF's for us then Marquis Grissom. Please if we can get both of them or at least one
  18. I think that Iowa is overrated and won't perform when it comes down to it all. They are having a great season, but MState and Illinois are the two best teams in that conference with Ohio State right behind them.
  19. Soriano, yeah probably more, but Vidro that sounds right. I like Vidro I know he has had injury problems, but when healthy hes just as productive at the 2 spot as Walker or so it seems.
  20. I would only prefer Dunn if he was playing outfield for us. Just my personal opinion, but DLee numbers at least his power numbers are said to be what they thought he could hit. I mean probably not as good, but around there. Plus hes a much better fielder probably the best fielding first baseman in the game. Don't get me wrong if we can get Dunn get him, but don't put him at first just because of hist numbers in the past compared to DLee's.
  21. Wait I'm just wondering who said Dunn was among the games "Greatest Hitters"? Just wondering
  22. Agreed, but looking at there situation I think that they wont ask for two much probably Walker and Welly or something like that for either Vidro or Soriano. I could be wrong, but it seems like Soriano refuses to play outfield and if they put him at second Vidro doesn't have a job. So I don't think it would cost to much. In that case I would be willing to take on the salary to improve our team.
  23. That is why i said that he would be a difference maker for the cubbies. I agree with everything you are saying Vance. I just am not a fan of the sabermetric system whether it is right or not. I want Dunn plain and simple if we can get him. Who's a better overall player and just making sure you guys agree DLee is much better.
