  1. Clemens Pedro Maddux Johnson
  2. He is good, but he shouldnt be asking for more than Urlacher. For Ricky Manning is he thinking about comin to Chicago. That sounds good.
  3. I got Aramis unless this leg injury keeps up. He is better offensivley right now in his career and has gotten better defensivly. Rolen offensive numbers have gone down on the other hand and is a huge injury risk. Career wise Rolen right now, but if you were to take one of the other for a team I take Aramis because hes younger and has more of and upside then Rolen who is on a decline.
  4. I think Zambrano, Prior, Maddux, Miller Marshall doesnt look to shabby. Plus we need at least one lefty in there. Mike North compared him to a young Mark Beurlhe today so there are others out there who think hes pretty damn good.
  5. Id love if Indiana got the 8th seed and had to play the Pistons. I hate the pacers.
  6. I agree we need to bring up more pitching like Guzman or someone. filling in Hariston, Mabry, Pagan is not the end of the world.
  7. Agreed with not being hard on Marshall. It was his first time pitching in the Major Leagues dude. He also was facing the toughest team in the National League. I give him some credit to only allow 4 and keep us in the game. Rusch on the other hand there is no excuse for giving up to bombs to Bronson Arroyo. Bring up Guzman now please!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Thank god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. aight I know Prior had the best year and 2003, but he hasnt been healthy. Willis has been healthy all three seasons. I'm sorry I take the one who is healthy no offense.
  10. As you can see Willis has been the best in the last two year and doesn't have any injury problems.
  11. Health wise with prior to. Im sorry I love Prior and he probably if ever healthy will be a better pitcher than Willis, but he has not been healthy since 2003. I know they were freak accidents and weird injuries, but right now in there careers Willis is better than both Prior and Wood and hasnt been injured in his career and hes the youngest. So Id take my chances on the healthy, young, proven pitcher. Dont get me wrong though I like Prior. 12. They kinda do. I think in any other picture though they wouldnt look the same at all.
  13. I'd take my chances on Willis being healthy rather than Wood and Prior.
  14. I agree that he is bad defensivly, but the worst defensive catcher ever is a little harsh.
  15. I think it was the right move. Wuertz didn't look dominate, but he was also facing Pujols when he gave up the hit enough said. On the other hand Marshall didn't look to shabby in the game and Dusty made him look even better by getting him out of the game before to much damage was done.
  16. My thoughts we need to sign Dlee, Aramis, and Pierre for another 3 years at least. Secondly trade for another starter just in case all of our injured pitchers dont recover. I think Pie could be very good, but if we can get someone good for him Id get rid of him. I like Murton, Jones, and Pierre in the outfield and Cedeno is looking solid a SS. Thats what I think we should do. No need for the bat we need the pitching.
  17. I do it in a second for either one of them. We need both desperately. I know they say that Prior and Wood will be back, but its a forgone conclusion that one of them will get reinjured. My pick Wood he will never be healthy for a full season. So Willis, Zambrano, Prior hopefully healthy, Maddux, and Miller Wow does that rotation look nice then.
  18. Its defintley because of our offense buddy. We need more pitching and pitching has been our problem ever since the playoffs in 03.
  19. I dont know if we have the easiest schedule. We have some very easy game in our schedule, but were still playing SEA, NE, and MIA which are all gonna be good teams this year. I dont know I havent seen other teams schedules so I can really make a decision.
  20. Shelton for MVP I can see it now.
  21. I like those picks if Fasano can make it that long. I think we need a TE over a CB.
  22. I have some of the most pessimistic(for lack of a better word) projections for Murton, but he's a decent bet to put up similar numbers as Lee in the OBP department with superior defense. The fact that Lee is a more expensive rental, and that we're giving up 2 of our top pitching prospects that are on the cusp of the majors isn't worth the increase in power. Yeah, but Lee has that pop that we were looking for in the outfield.
  23. 4/$50M, with a 5th year mutual option. I like that deal! He's worth that!
  24. Why isnt Maddux starting today, Z sat and Marshall sun?
