    true. I guess, but Id rather have roberts leading off and Soriano batting 2,4, or 5. Just my opinion though.

    if they go for a big bat I think itll be Soriano I really wouldnt want him center, but last year he showed he wasnt horrible in left. If comes down to Soriano or Murton Id go for Soriano and have a outfield of Soriano in left, Roberts in center, and jones in right. I know its not great definsivly, but the lineup would look great.

    I completely agree with you that they were rushed. On the other hand though Id rather have two legitamate starts after Z. If we can get someone else in there instead of those two that be great, but they odds of us signing 4 starters is unlikely thats all.

    first off they were basically the number 3,4, and 5 for us last year which shouldnt be where you stick 4 rookies. all im saying is that if they dont have as much pressure on them to be lights out like they had last year they might perform a little better or at least 4th or 5th starter type of numbers.

    think about it padilla or jaun mateo? I prefer padilla no matter how bad he did the last three seasons.

    yeah thats all im saying. Or bullpen really wasnt that bad last year, but they had to come in like the 6th inning ever game cause we didnt have a starting rotation.

    well yeah if we can get Bonds under 10 million i take him over sheff. Bonds though will probably command 15 million im thinking so if sheff is much more cheaper i take sheff.

    ha i like the rhyme. obviously i would prefer a zito or schmidt, but meche or padilla would help out our staff.
