  1. agree. Lots of guys there, almost 10-12 guys you could just throw in a lotto bowl, shake em up, and get results that made sense.
  2. Pierce Johnson. If Vogelbach could just play average D at 1B he'd easily be in the conversation for #5 prospect. But I have to take the #3 SP upside over power bat DH with very good plate discipline who hasn't shown amazing HR power yet. It would be another story if he broke out last year and hit like 30+ HR. Then even the "lack of position" wouldn't matter as much.
  3. Dodgers, because ofcourse.
  4. clarifying, Yankees matched next highest offer (probably Dbacks) -break- , Cubs 20 - 30 million offer next highest bid.
  5. Castro rules theroit drools. That's right I didn't even capitalize his name because he is a PUNK.
  6. really dissapointed opening ceremony wasn't on comcast like last year. Would really have liked to see that "prospect walk". They brought out pretty much every relevant one and then some.
  7. He also won't be Poor Tom Ricketts anymore. I hope he is, that would mean he is spending every last cent of the TV money on high impact players like Tanaka. I was just joking. (If Tom Ricketts is too poor to sign players at least TV money Tom Ricketts won't be).
  8. If the Cubs can get 1.5 mil a game just from WGN's share hell you could sign Tanaka, then 2 more Tanaka caliber players and not even dip into poor rickett's pockets.
  9. It's gonna be Alcantara #6, Johnson #7. Yeah still gonna vote just one for awhile. Might be more interesting in the 10-20 realm.
  10. Uh, I don't think anyone is taking that Tweet seriously. Uh, ok. heh heh heh. http://www.flyingomelette.com/oddities/pics/sab2/butthead.jpg
  11. Uh I'm sure if Bruce Levine said/saw Tanaka there would be more than just some random stupid nobody loser tweeting it.
  12. This is the Tanaka thread? Tanakitoff will ya. (the phone thing was funny though).
  13. That seems like some solid logic. It's not, but I'm still calling Alcantara #6 and Johnson #7.
  14. we can wrap up the next two also since it's gonna be Alcantara then Johnson based on their teeny tiny bars.
  15. Yeah the next one will be a little more indecisive between Alcantara and Johnson. But this one seems like a slam dunk.
  16. Who the hell is that Julie? I'm guessing Kyle was being sarcastic? I don't wanna get excited til Kyle is legitimately excited.
  17. well they should be able to budget it in right away, which would make a huge Tanaka deal even easier to absorb.
  18. LOL hey man, you seem a bit too interested in the Clark with a dick pictures. Kind of getting a weird vibe. I'm coming to your house. To burn it down? No to kick his ass for being such a douche.

  20. It never has and it never will. Yes it will. The Bilbo has spoken.
  21. Makes sense. He's gotta dominate Daytona Then he can tear apart Tennessee Then he can eliminate Iowa Then he can Crush the Cubs (in a good way)
  22. If it's true, I'd guess it's being announced at the convention. I'm going with them saving the Tanaka announcement til the convention. That's my story, and you can all pat me on my back when it's true. Or point and laugh when it's not.
