    agree. Lots of guys there, almost 10-12 guys you could just throw in a lotto bowl, shake em up, and get results that made sense.

    Pierce Johnson. If Vogelbach could just play average D at 1B he'd easily be in the conversation for #5 prospect. But I have to take the #3 SP upside over power bat DH with very good plate discipline who hasn't shown amazing HR power yet. It would be another story if he broke out last year and hit like 30+ HR. Then even the "lack of position" wouldn't matter as much.

    really dissapointed opening ceremony wasn't on comcast like last year. Would really have liked to see that "prospect walk". They brought out pretty much every relevant one and then some.

    He also won't be Poor Tom Ricketts anymore. I hope he is, that would mean he is spending every last cent of the TV money on high impact players like Tanaka. I was just joking. (If Tom Ricketts is too poor to sign players at least TV money Tom Ricketts won't be).

    If the Cubs can get 1.5 mil a game just from WGN's share hell you could sign Tanaka, then 2 more Tanaka caliber players and not even dip into poor rickett's pockets.

    It's gonna be Alcantara #6, Johnson #7. Yeah still gonna vote just one for awhile. Might be more interesting in the 10-20 realm.

    If it's true, I'd guess it's being announced at the convention. I'm going with them saving the Tanaka announcement til the convention. That's my story, and you can all pat me on my back when it's true. Or point and laugh when it's not.
