    As to your Soler, I think CJ will take the largest leap this year. And that's quite a thing since his year was already outstanding. But I think just by repeating it and adding some innings and looking a bit meatier will be enough to catapult in in the prospect rankings. The exciting this is, all 5 of our top guys have that sort of talent to make a huge leap over where they already are. It's hard to chose. I'm voting Almora for now but it's hard to chose between him Soler and CJ.

    I certainly understand people chosing Baez. He had a monster year and there is a lot of reason for excitement. But I think Bryant is going to have an even more monster year in AA this year.

    The poll does not take into account which name you clicked first. You essentially just voted for nobody. Since either Baez or Bryant will win. What you just did was place one chip on red and one on black, on a roulette board that doesn't have green or 0.

    It doesn't really hurt. But are they really needed until all of Baez, Bryant, Soler, Almora, and Edwards are off the board? You get to make 3 votes per poll, so I think so. I understand. I was just saying, if someone votes for Baez and Bryant in this poll, they aren't really swaying the result because it's gonna be either Baez or Bryant at #1.

    Bryant Baez Almora and I might put Edwards ahead of Soler. I'll have time to think though.

    I have absolutely no doubt the Rickett's will give Theo the money for Tanaka. I don't like Kaplan but I trust he has his sources. The only thing that will stop Tanaka from coming here now is Tanaka himself. If he just likes the idea of playing for the Yankees, Dodgers, Mariners more, that is going to be the factor. Not money. I just have to trust that Theo and Jed make a really really good impression. That's all that is going to save us now. Is the charisma and and smart negotiating skills.

    Thanks for staring it up raisin. We needed something like this right now. :) I see there is an option to vote up to 3 options. I just question anyone who would do that. Let's say you vote for the obvious 3, Baez, Bryant, and Almora. You didn't actually do anything to sway the poll because it's likely going to be one of those 3 anyway. Why not think long and hard, and make 1 choice.

    I went with Bryant and I'll say why. I used some outside sources to help shape my decision but ultimately it was up to me. MLB's 2014 list has Baez at 7 and Bryant at 9. Sickels has both Baez and Bryant as As. So I get the feeling these 2 guys are viewed in that same tier of top 10 MLB talent types. The difference is. I think Baez is more risky but comes with superstar ceiling. Bryant has a safer floor, but still comes with All-Star MVP type ceiling. And I just feel Bryant is a safer bet to at least reach his floor. That's why I chose Bryant, but they are oh so very close in value as prospects. EDIT: and wow it's neck and neck right now, both with 10 votes. I think that shows just how close they really are, and how I'm not the only one who feels that way.

    Roll the polls. It's gonna take a while and it will be easy to do a poll at the end if Tanaka or Shark Prospects come back, we can slot them in at that time.
