Here's your new sig pic: From my meatball-y standpoint, so much of this comes down to the "big four" not really being productive at the same time (or at all). You go into the season figuring that, pretty much no matter what, the combo of Schwarber-Bryant-Rizzo-Zobrist is some pretty impressive bedrock to build a lineup around. To think that most of the season to this point would really only be spent with ONE of them really hitting at any given time seemed...well, pretty unthinkable. Now you start sprinkling in some injuries, and the Cubs starting so many games down early, and you've got the recipe for a struggling lineup. It really feels like that if you could just get two of those guys going at the same time it would make a huge difference.
