Yeah, no need to microanalyze it so much; they just suck at it general.

We've somehow found the one guy who has discovered multiple reasons to be happy when his favorite baseball team has a game rained out. -
They've got a semi-decent enough window from 2 PM onwards, so I could see them delaying it to get this one in due to the scheduling logistics between the two teams for the rest of the season.

I mean, sure, I've seen people mention the passed balls and plain inability to catch pitches sometimes but I don't recall anyone specifically talking about his lack of framing skills. People talk about it all the time. Yeah, his framing has been a thing since he first showed up.
