The problem is that the Ricketts family won't be paying it, all of us Cub fans will be paying it through $200 seats, $15 beers, $10 hot dogs, and an extra $30 a month to add their network to your cable package. Everybody knows that a billionaire didn't get rich by eating the cost of an expensive asset, they just pass it along to the consumers. You're right; it would be terrible if going to a Cubs game turns into a stupidly expensive thi-OH WAIT.

I'm pretty sure that if you're making a show based out of the world of 90's/early 2000's skateboarding, you have to actively TRY to only cast something, like, 30 white dudes. Skateboarding? I thought that show was based out of the world of small town meth dealers. Tomayto, tomahto.

Girardi cons: he'd probably make everyone get harsh short haircuts that he'd give himself. Girardi pros: too many of the Cubs have terrible haircuts, so this is likely actually an upgrade.

Arguing about avatars is a bit silly, but that's not at all the point Sammy was making. The point I'm making is I hate Mojo's avatar more than Tom's. Infinitely so. Most everything we argue about here is completely silly, for the record. I get it; OMC's bizarrely makes me want to punch the screen, and I really like that miniseries! But, seriously, a fuckin' instantly dated blackface gag is a shitty thing to still be tossing around.
