    It's only slightly more satisfying than when I stare them down, unblinking, while I brush the dumb nuclear-colored salad off of a hot dog, and then sexily blast some ketchup all over it. Or leaning in all close and casual and ordering a beef...and then adding that I want some melted cheese on that bad boy, AND for the bread to be toasted. I love wrecking the worlds of Chicago food peddlers.

    Few things are more perversely satisfying than to order a Chicago thin crust pizza cut pie-style and then watching the light slowly fade in their eyes of the person taking your order.

Actual Bryce Harper-related juicy hot goss. 2. The inevitable tangent argument about pizza.

    well, yeah. except the local and national media guys are a damn near all basically reporting the opposite (cubs are poor, cubs don't need to/can't spend all that money on harper, etc.), which is why we're all in search of a glimmer of hope. It's the same stuff people here have posted; it's just a tweet instead of a dusty old message board post.

    If this guy WAS a known sports reporter dude, then people here would just be rightly dragging him for just regurgitating a bunch of obvious assumptions as "news." "The Cubs are trying to move things around to best make a contract work with Bryce Harper, who they obviously have been in touch with like every other team reported to be after top tier FA Bryce Harper...WHAT A SCOOP."
