  1. First it was hot duck, then it was chill duck... I know I had a typo, but I don't know if I should understand this joke. Definitely not. It's a bad joke. But for the good of us all, here is Chill Duck: [tweet] [/tweet]
  2. r_mack, how much has Maddon's take on this meant to you? Please rate it on a scale of, "I'd follow that drunken idiot into hell," to, "I couldn't stop the tears from how inspired I was."
  3. NO, IT'S ALL AN ELABORATE RUSE, YOU SEE. Gotta placate those uppity women and the echo chamber internet. This guy is sweating over how much he's yearning to screech "SJW!!!!!!"
  4. I love that your greaseball take is, "surely this billion dollar corporate entity would rally around the player they see more as an asset than a human being (and basically don't even consider his ex anything at all) would ONLY do so if they knew that he was innocent and pure of heart." Get outta here with your "women always be falsely accusin'" garbage, because that's all it amounts to. I feel bad for cracking a bootlicking joke in the Harper thread because THIS is what bootlicking actually looks like.
  5. As far as we know. He denied the allegations from the beginning. My guess is, if he lied about it or went back on it, the Cubs wouldn’t be sticking behind him. Remember, there’s is information out there that you’re never going to see. Never side with management, you horsefeathering nerd.
  6. He didn't, Boylen did. But seriously, maybe they feel like that's the scenario where they can get away with a lane duck situation and save some money in what should continue to be a couple worthless tank seasons anyways, then go big in 2021? First it was hot duck, then it was chill duck...
  7. The Bulls aren't even the worst run org in the city. (That would be the Bears)
  8. Wasn't his statement on Friday basically an admission of guilt? As far as we know.
  9. "Meatball sports fans are OK with dickheads, therefore the problem is with the people who are not OK with dickheads," isn't a very solid ground for an argument about people getting out of their own "echo chambers."
  10. OF COURSE this guy has this take.
  11. I'm the sexiest shut-in ever, and I am throwing all of the shade on people who dare to show themselves in public. And also on the people who think rich people know how to dress themselves. What's always out of fashion? Bootlicking.
  12. I'm the sexiest shut-in ever, and I am throwing all of the shade on people who dare to show themselves in public.
  13. Beards are good. Bryce with a beard and a buzzcut is not good. AND THAT TOP BUTTON. And let's not forget Bryant's creepy cult guru necklace.
  14. Seriously though....dude cut down the wrong part of his head...
  15. That's my point, the Marlins ought to ask for the moon because everybody is after Realmuto. That's not the point of Cubswin11's post at all.
  16. Though I appreciate his determination to keep rocking the worst possible hairstyle for a dude losing every hairline battle possible. I've got an uncle still doing the same, and it's practically halfway back the top of his head (hello me in 20 years).
  17. Dear god, why did he shave his majestic mane. Dear god, why is his shirt buttoned all the way up. Dear god, what is Bryant wearing around his neck.
  18. But gotta be sure to write fluff pieces about how he's a manchild who has to travel around during the season with his binders full of horsefeathering Pokemon cards.
  19. Hey man, WS hangovers are no joke!
  20. Sure; some of us would have just preferred for him to try and tackle that away from the Cubs. I think it's faulty to act like people like him NEED to be given a second chance....and when I say "people like him," I mean millionaire celebrities. People talk like they need to be given another chance, or it should be given that he get another shot to play pro baseball...but why? Why treat exceptional people like they're everyone else? This isn't Addison Russell: plumber; he's Addison Russell: millionaire baseball player (and watch me have real sympathy that he's "only" made $4.6 million in the last 4 years).
  21. This offseason is a bag of farts.
  22. That’s the best worst explanation I’ve heard
  23. This post is dog horsefeathers.
