    Are you out of your ---SOAPDROPPING--- mind? Not at all. Wrigley is falling apart and is way too small for the crowds the Cubs draw in. It is continually hampered by the neighborhood around it whenever they want to make any kind of significant changes or expansions. Not being able to play more night games is asinine. Not having parking is beyond ridiculous at this point. The neighborhood around Cabrini has really flipped around in recent years and is pretty cool now, plus there'd be a ton of room out there for a new, bigger stadium plus parking. On top of that, if the stadium is positioned correctly, you'd have the Chicago skyline behind the outfield. Wrigley wouldn't go anywhere. Hell, figure something out where the Cubs still pla a few games there each year, but I'm all for a new stadium and have been for a while.

    Finish demolishing Cabrini and build a new stadium, please. The Wrigleyville property owners and local associations can go eff themselves.

    I'm not a doctor, but I believe it is quite possible for a blister to morph into an wound/open sore. "I'm beyond antsy," he said. "It's the (darndest) thing I've ever seen as far as skin. I can't explain it, and nobody here can explain it. I've been to several doctors, and I just haven't gotten any better. We tried just about everything we could think of and probably tried some things we shouldn't have. Time will be the best thing for it." Apparently several doctors can't explain it. No mention of a "popped blister" that just needs to heal. Instead it's "nobody can explain it." "It's the (darndest) thing I've ever seen as far as skin."

    They rarely do. Are you just so above everyone else on this board that you couldn't take a moment to lighten up just once? The Cubs just swept four from the Brewers on the road, and all you've got are insults to hurl? It was simply a scientific observation.

    Just DFA Eyre. He's in the last 2 months of his contract. So I think it is going to hurt the Cubs. If you can't get outs in a blowout, then you suck. You're Milwaukee Brewer bullpen bad. Orrrrrrrrrrr you're a guy who has done very well this year but hasn't been used since coming off the DL due to his bullpen-[expletive] manager and just might be more than a tad rusty.

    A dangerous place to be an Astro? Is Cuba going to attack Houston? Vive la revolucion. I couldn't seriously think of any reason to include the Astros without laughing myself onto the floor. It'll be like the Royals in the AL Central.

    Maybe the White Sox have actually secretly come up with an elaborate sort of time swap and they're going to end up with Junior and Thome from a decade ago. Fortunately, they also end up with young Hawk as the GM again. FAILURE.

    Great pickups for the Pirates this season. Between them, the Brewers having a bunch of cheap, young good players, the Cubs with their key players mostly locked up for at least 3 years and Cuba maybe looming, the Cardinals somehow always abe to string together a competitive team and the Reds with some good young players (if Dusty doesn't destroy them), the NL Central apears to be a dangerous place.
