  1. Meh, I consider them pretty close to equal. You sure about that?
  2. I'm not a doctor, but I believe it is quite possible for a blister to morph into an wound/open sore. "I'm beyond antsy," he said. "It's the (darndest) thing I've ever seen as far as skin. I can't explain it, and nobody here can explain it. I've been to several doctors, and I just haven't gotten any better. We tried just about everything we could think of and probably tried some things we shouldn't have. Time will be the best thing for it." Apparently several doctors can't explain it. No mention of a "popped blister" that just needs to heal. Instead it's "nobody can explain it." "It's the (darndest) thing I've ever seen as far as skin."
  3. They rarely do. Are you just so above everyone else on this board that you couldn't take a moment to lighten up just once? The Cubs just swept four from the Brewers on the road, and all you've got are insults to hurl? It was simply a scientific observation.
  4. R-Train, start the next thread, please. No excuse to not beat up on the Nady and Bay-less Pirates, even with Marquis kicking things off.
  5. Just one game, but Mussina got brutalized in his last start.
  6. Just DFA Eyre. He's in the last 2 months of his contract. So I think it is going to hurt the Cubs. If you can't get outs in a blowout, then you suck. You're Milwaukee Brewer bullpen bad. Orrrrrrrrrrr you're a guy who has done very well this year but hasn't been used since coming off the DL due to his bullpen-[expletive] manager and just might be more than a tad rusty.
  7. At least Marshall and Eyre got some work.
  8. A dangerous place to be an Astro? Is Cuba going to attack Houston? Vive la revolucion. I couldn't seriously think of any reason to include the Astros without laughing myself onto the floor. It'll be like the Royals in the AL Central.
  9. Only the people who refused to admit that Barrett made the first move. please don't let this stupid argument start up again. there was absolutely no way to tell what happened from that choppy youtube video. *Shove*
  10. Maybe the White Sox have actually secretly come up with an elaborate sort of time swap and they're going to end up with Junior and Thome from a decade ago. Fortunately, they also end up with young Hawk as the GM again. FAILURE.
  11. Great pickups for the Pirates this season. Between them, the Brewers having a bunch of cheap, young good players, the Cubs with their key players mostly locked up for at least 3 years and Cuba maybe looming, the Cardinals somehow always abe to string together a competitive team and the Reds with some good young players (if Dusty doesn't destroy them), the NL Central apears to be a dangerous place.
  12. Len - "Maybe Doug Eddings lost his voice and Prince is saying that he sounds hoarse." Awesome.
  13. I'm tempted to photograph my TV right now. This is like spotting the Loch Ness Monster.
  14. Wow. Serious "BWAAAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAAAAAAAH!!!"-ing needed.
  15. Seriously, as soundly as the Cubs have drubbed the the Brewers they should get 1.5 games for each win this series.
  16. A Shark heater between the shoulders would do nicely. Fontenot-style payback.
  17. That's embarassing. Trying to plunk a guy and missing on 4 straight pitches.
  18. Maybe the WS have developed some special form of time travel where you can swap people with their past selves, and they're gonna end up with Junior and Thome from 10 years ago.
