    im rolling with your interpretation Yuuuup. Part of it is me thinking the Braves fucked themselves with the leaks. Once it got out that they were going to give up Delgado for Dempster, why the hell would a team trading someone like Greinke not demand an even better package?

    Seems like everyone here is dealing with extremes and ignoring the huge, creamy, delicious middle.

    According to Fangraphs he's been worth about $13.5 million thus far. Take that as you will. Fangraphs also has him as providing the 5th most defensive value in all of baseball (3rd most on a rate basis). He's certainly improved and was always underrated defensively to begin with, but that much? Given his tools and the coaching, sure.

    He's pretty bad this year; he was even worse in 2010, plus 2009 was a noticeable decline from the previous years as well. There's definitely concerns. Don't get me wrong, I can easily see why teams would want to get him, but I don't think he's a lock as a front end guy.
