well at least you prove the committee wrong by losing home NIT games to Holy Cross!!! Oh, brother. When was the last time a team that got the shaft from the tourney won that joke of a "tournament"? ND played freshmen that game that hadn't played all season, shows you how important it was. Funny, cause from looking at the box score of that game, it looks like Notre Dame's two best players were in the game for 40 minutes, and two of their other regular starters played 35 and 23 minutes. In fact, I looked really carefully, but the only guy who got a lot more playing time than usual was this fellow Kurz, and he got into 14 games that year. Darn that internet, with all its "facts" and stuff. Darn that NIT, with all its meaninglessness and stuff. I take about as much stock in the NIT as I do college bowl games that aren't the national title, which is zero.
