    2-1 today, and I'm not sure many people saw Miss St coming, so I'll call it a good day. Also, PSU's are up with Notre Dame's current unis (they've had some cruddy ones in the past, but the current ones are awesome) as my favorites in the college game.

    I'm convinced that ASU was playing with 9 defenders last night. That's the only logical explanation for no one ever being near Texas players in the open field last night.

    Less than the Cubs were going to offer and no option. I think it's pretty clear he wanted out all along.

    Ball State's Worst Season Ever Watch: 0-11 after losing to Illinois State 65-49. ND sucks it up in the 2nd half and barely beats San Francisco. Uninspiring day.

    That was very entertaining. My 32-0 dreams remain alive (although I had, like, 2 points on Utah).

    Miami (Ohio) over the Illini and Pitt over Duke. Good day for the two conferences I have teams in. Oh, and Purdue lost to Wofford yesterday. Not a good week for the Big Ten.

    ESPN didn't name Sosa on the bottom line either, and I have to believe if Sosa really had been named that they would've mentioned it. He's kind of a big name.

    Yup. Been a strange season for Carolina. 4-0 against the NFC West 2-3 against the NFC South (Tampa Bay left) 0-1 against their 2 other NFC games (Dallas left) 0-4 against the AFC South Last year Carolina went 8-8 and went 5-1 in the division, sweeping New Orleans and Tampa while going 3-7 in the rest of their games, including splitting four games against the AFC North. They're just a weird team. The Bears losing last night pretty much took care of whatever playoff hopes the Panthers may have had...they're in the race mathematically but have no real chance.

    Stupid Panthers can't do anything right...they suck for 13 games, then when it comes time to lose to better teams for draft purposes, they beat a division champion for no reason. I suppose next we'll beat Dallas for some reason.

    Roids wore off. NO! How dare you. The guy who told him how to hit homers, who only the he saw, was named George Baruth (omg, George "Babe" Ruth?!?!) and he left town at the end of the book. That's when he stopped hitting homers. Hahaha, I remember that part. Then he wrote the sequel where Eddie Cicotte of the Black Sox shows up and teaches him how to be a jackass.

    The list you saw was bogus, and Prior and Wood weren't mentioned at all in the Mitchell Report. Sammy wasn't either, outside of some 2005 congressional hearing discussion. You can find OMC's compilation of who was in it at this link. Sorry about the yellow in the link, I found it through Search.

    I think everyone who makes this argument does. While we're on the subject, I don't know the numbers of pitchers in innings they have to record 4 or more outs (as Prior was charged with doing in that game), but I can be pretty sure they're significantly worse than ones in which they only have to get 3.

    I think it's fair to say that the Cubs are the best team in the Central as of this moment, and I think it's also fair to say that could change before April.

    Troll How is that being a troll? Teams are going to be interested in picking up Prior. I don't understand who him showing interest in having his team sign Prior can be considered trolling. He's kidding.

    To say NSBB would explode would be the understatement of the year if ever a deal like that went down! I mean, he's completely serious with that post. I, uh, don't know what to say. Hahahahahaha, I guess the Orioles just release like 7 guys from the 25-man after that deal, and who the hell is Bradford that we'd give up Veal for him? I don't know a Bradford.
