  1. To be clear, Levis never said anything as far as we know. BigbadB is referring to a post I made on page 2 where his odds to go #1 had suddenly spiked (went from 50/1 to 4/1 or something overnight) because some guy on Reddit claimed Levis was telling his people Carolina was taking him first.
  2. I troll Zillow occasionally and I swear to God I wish I could filter out any listings that say "as is", "investment", "TLC", "project" or anything related.
  3. So the latest rumors involved some silly Reddit post by (as far as we know) a random jackwagon claiming Will Levis had told friends he was the #1 pick. Can't wait to not worry about that in a few hours. I'm extremely confident in Bryce Young. The only thing anyone seems to have against him is that he might get hurt when he's only missed one game in his entire football career to date. Not a good enough reason not to pick someone, IMO.
  4. Looks like Lamar Jackson got a 5-year deal from the Ravens. Interested to see the terms.
  5. Hell, they're already testing a 'whenever you want' pinch runner rule now in the Atlantic League, who cares about limitations now
  6. Update. Still horsefeathering done with Michael Fulmer.
  7. Feels like Max Muncy is gonna set a record for assists today. Everything going right into his glove.
  8. Related - Matt Mervis got 3 more hits today.
  9. I remain nonplussed as to why Luis Torrens is here
  10. Stroman out here making up for all his good pitching to date in one day
  11. Who the actual horsefeathers is James Outman and how did he break baseball
  12. I assume you're remembering his no-hit bid in Milwaukee against the Astros the day after Big Z's no-hitter
  13. I Googled 'Arrieta perfect game bid' and a YouTube clip from 2014 came up when he took one into the 7th against the Reds. I don't think he ever got closer than that. ETA - He apparently also had one into the 7th against Pittsburgh once.
  14. Smyly probably wasn't going to get him anyway but it's too bad Gomes didn't let him take a crack at it.
  15. Just to be a contrarian, I like the new forum functionality better. Especially on mobile.
  16. I don't remember everything, especially anymore, but I'm pretty sure no Cub since I've been following the team (close to 25 years) has taken a perfect game this far.
  17. They just did the 'McNugget' of the game and it turns out this is the new modern-day franchise record. The only other time they did it was 1885.
  18. Smyly looks exasperated haha
  19. Just teeing off on this scrub
  20. It is admittedly becoming much harder to hate him these days.
  21. Seiya is absolutely destroying the ball almost every time up. It's awesome to watch.
  22. Outside of the final 2 minutes of each half (for those who don't bother clicking). In my experience, it seems like many clock operators in the sport were either curtailing or outright ignoring the clock stoppages anyway outside of close-and-late situations, so that's fine.
  23. I just looked up his numbers on Baseball Savant and holy crap are they disgusting. By far career worsts in barrel rate allowed, xBA, xSLG (over .600!) and basically every other stat you could imagine. Throw Alzolay in there and see what happens. Can't do any worse.
  24. That signing was a whiff and he can go. Don't walk Jason Heyward
