  1. Wha? Why did we punt again? Luckily the holding will pretty much make it exactly what it already was.
  2. Good punt, Baker. Now our defense needs to create something.
  3. Ah, so that's why we hadn't bothered throwing a pass beyond 3 yards yet.
  4. I sure didn't see that false start.
  5. hooooooooov good play call
  6. Toub? ST coach for the bears Oh, gotcha. Ok, guys. Time to answer.
  7. Nice block, Nick Goings. Damn it.
  8. Ack, that could've been worse. Not the way I wanted to start.
  9. Maybe something's changed in the last year, but the last time I saw, Wharton sucks.
  10. I just found this. I dont know if its any good: http://www.freefootballradio.com/Chicago.html I listened to last week's Panthers game using that site. It's WAY behind the TV feed, so I wouldn't recommend using the stat-trackers or whatnot if you don't want spoilers, but it works.
  11. It sort of amazes me sometimes that Len doesn't get looked at to do Fox games. He's not perfect or anything, but he's so far better than most of the idiots they have doing national games right now it's ridiculous.
  12. Same, except I have Justin Fargas instead of Stewart. I also had to play Fargas instead of McGahee.
  13. Isn't there a new rule in college football? It's no longer "a football move." Now you have to take two steps for the catch to be complete. Or is that just the NFL? From what I've been able to gather, there's no hard and fast rule - they just want you to establish possession in some way.
  14. Cubs.com says Wolf tomorrow night for the Stros.
  15. I'm getting very excited for the game. I want to see what Stewart in particular, but also Williams, can do against an elite run defense. I'm going to try and be in this thread tomorrow, so I hope I don't tick all of you off. :D Go Panthers!
  16. The first few minutes of Notre Dame/Michigan was like a dream sequence. It was about time Michigan looked horrible and dug themselves an insurmountable hole early in a game in this series after we did it three of the previous five years. That said, MSU and Purdue are the next two games, and both of those teams are better than Michigan (so far anyway). If we can split those two games I'll feel good about an 8-win season. Golden Tate is going to be a star. Also: Ball State goes 3-0 by beating Akron 41-24. Big game at IU next week could decide if we go into Central Michigan unbeaten in mid-November.
  17. This Astros debacle just got added to the list.
  18. Going to the game today through a flood watch that is lasting all day. Go Irish. Beat Wolverines.
  19. Howry is the replacement for the S word on the filter now I believe. Can't be retired. [expletive]. It worked!
  20. Jarrett had a pretty decent game against San Diego, including a really nice leaping catch on the final drive. I have high hopes for him, but for now I think he's the 4th receiver behind Moose, Hackett and Smith. Hopefully not having the pressure on him that he did last year (being drafted to be the no. 2 essentially after Keyshawn was inexcusably released) will help him.
  21. At least some of us have Bears (or football in general).... you don't even like that. Sucks  If the Cubs were going to get a series washed out, a weekend where I'm going to a Notre Dame football game and getting to actually watch the Panthers (a rare treat) was a good one for it to happen.
  22. The Cubs want to gain an advantage by playing the damn games. I don't think the neutral-site garbage has a lot to do with that. Cubs fans would be close to outnumbering Houston fans even in Houston. The Astros are the ones trying to play with the schedule till it comes out the way they like.
  23. Ted Lilly gave Braden Looper a look the other day after getting buzzed that plainly said "you hit me with a pitch and I will walk out to the mound and stab you in the heart, followed by icepicking your family to death. Do NOT eff with me." So why Felipe's yakking when he plays us again this year, I do not know. Funny how cocky you get when you get a hold of the Cardinal magic that enables a guy cut by the worst team in baseball to suddenly OPS about .950.
