  1. Good lord...I clearly hadn't watched enough of the Browns to realize how horrid their D is. That McDonald was just getting abused by the end of the game...poor guy probably has burn marks all over him. Granted, not the best of defenses that he faced, but Brady Quinn was great. Much better than I thought he'd be off a short week. Pity most of his teammates didn't give him much of a chance tonight.
  2. They are, if an onscreen graphic was correct. WMU was supposed to be on 360, but appears to have been picked up for ESPN2. I don't exaggerate when I say Ball State at Central Michigan, if both teams win their next game, could be the biggest game in the history of the MAC (insert joke here). A 10-0 Ball State vs 8-2 Central Michigan would be a great matchup even before adding in the angles of CMU being the two-time MAC champ and the third Nate Davis/Dan LeFevour collision.
  3. Ball State hasn't played that well all year. What a great win. :D Three more to go...
  4. Ball State tonight!!! You're going down, Flames. GO CARDS
  5. I was hoping for Aramis to win a GG, but he had a few errors the last few weeks of the year that hurt his case. Hopefully he will get one eventually.
  6. Oklahoma's lost chance at the title game has a lot more to do with the fact that Texas, who beat them, is in the running than anything Oklahoma did wrong. Florida did it right - lose to a cruddy team so they don't need to worry about a head to head situation like that.
  7. Are you putting Pedro Martinez in his era or just behind it? That was my thought. I'm glad we won't see any more inexplicable standing O's given to Maddux while playing for other teams. It was getting Cardinals-fan-esque there towards the end.
  8. I haven't worn the cap since, but that's mostly because I've been wearing my football team caps a lot. I've worn shirts and a hoodie a few times.
  9. In one exchange, he turned it over, gave up a 3-pointer, turned it over again, and gave up a 3-pointer. Turned out to be the decisive plays in the game.
  10. I am going to be pissed if we lose to JaMarcus Russell. That said our defense has been pretty good lately except for Kurt Warner last week, but Warner owns us so that's understandable. The Panthers should win by a couple scores. And I'll be at B-Dubs Thursday night to watch Brady Quinn against a horrible Denver defense.
  11. The Magic are not very smart, Howard could've gone for 50/30 if they'd felt like giving him the ball.
  12. About damn time. Now time to make plans to be at Buffalo Wild Wings on Thursday night.
  13. Notre Dame totally deserved it Guess I walked into that one
  14. No college team's fans deserve to have done to their program what Willingham does everywhere he goes. Except maybe Michigan's.
  15. Ball State dropping a spot in the BCS blows. Maybe we can get it back if we beat NIU.
  16. Derek Anderson actually played pretty well for Cleveland today, but threw the game-clinching pick-six for Baltimore on a horribly misexecuted screen pass. He (and, I'm guessing, Crennel for not making a switch) got booed lustily. Fans are wholesale turning on those two.
  17. Carolina's Week 16 game at the Meadowlands should be enlightening provided neither team has clinched by then.
  18. Tampa Bay wins after Bryant missed an overtime FG and was bailed out by Jeremy Trueblood jumping offsides. Stupid freaking Bucs. And even stupider freaking Chiefs.
  19. ND/BC is a much bigger game for ND than BC - which might be the first time that's ever happened. If Charlie is going to ever win a title at ND, it needs to start with beating teams on the second tier, between top 10 type teams and mediocre teams. ND is not good or experienced enough yet to be expected to beat top-tier teams but they need to beat teams like BC and next week's opponent, Navy, consistently if they're going to get past the 8-9 win area. NIU will be Ball State's sternest conference test this season to this point. It would be nice if BSU's offense can dominate early, something they haven't done in over a month now.

  21. Bucs getting crushed will put Carolina in control of the South. :D
  22. The AP poll is so much better than the coaches', it's too bad the coaches' is the one that matters to the BCS.
  23. Wow, I get Lions/Bears and Jags/Bengals. SNOOOOOOZE...Gus doing the latter game is the only thing keeping my TV on.
  24. I have a feeling I'll be much more into the Bulls after football season, but for right now it's really nice to see Rose play well.
  25. actually if texas scores here and then kicks the extra point, and it ends up being a one point longhorn win, then the red raiders should not receive a loss, since the extra point doesn't really count for anything and the game is really tied and going to overtime. man, this is so confusing all close games should just be tossed out, a win is the same as a loss, a loss is the same as a win only blowouts will count in mephball Where do you rank Ball State? unranked mephball only recognizes national powerhouses Ball State's wins are all by 12 or more, mephball digs the blowouts and vaults the Cardinals to #8
