  1. West Virginia's 'offense' is hard to watch.
  2. For a second I thought the first picture was Koyie Hill instead of Demp and had to remind myself we got rid of Koyie (finally).
  3. Big win for bubble team Seton Hall tonight as they clobber Georgetown.
  4. Just your basic 20-point comeback. Don't ever do that to me again, boys.
  5. In case anyone cares, here's the mock NCAA bracket that some media members came up with pretending to be the committee over the last couple of days.
  6. Yeah, ND has become a quality win for IU at this point. I didn't think either team looked any good in that game. Would be interesting to see them play now.
  7. Sorry to interrupt you guys collectively deciding whether you love or hate Illinois based on the last 15 minutes
  8. 10-3 in league play and the next 3 games are very winnable. There's a growing sentiment among the NDNation boards that the Big East is more down than it appears and that's helped facilitate this run. Loath though I am to say anything against what may end up being the longest league winning streak in ND history, it seems like that might be the case.
  9. Unless you're the 2012 Crimson Tide Is your goal to make this point on every page of this thread? Derwood seems to think the LSU/Bama rematch was something most college football fans pushed for, as opposed to it being most likely the single biggest reason we're headed for a playoff.
  10. I can't remember the last time there were more than 4 teams with a legitimate argument for a title shot. Maybe 2007 when everyone was losing? That's about it.
  11. Pretty solid plan. I'd be on board.
  12. College hoops polls are a 'what have you done for me lately?' type of world. I don't care about it, I just love that it's even a discussion.
  13. ND not ranked, and I'm glad they're not. I don't expect them to be next week either, since that would require going to Morgantown and winning. As last year's team showed, that's pretty difficult.

    SUPER BOWL 46

Agreed. I have a lot of opinions about a lot of guys in the NFL (guys I love, guys I hate), so I have a rooting interest in a lot of games... and yet I still just can't make myself sit down for three and a half hours to watch non-Bears football. I feel similarly about that, but I don't think it's because the NFL's a crappy product. It's just because I have better things to do than watch non-Panthers games on Sundays.
  15. Well, God willing, they won't make me worried. One would think the way they're playing now they'll be fine. Even if they didn't make the tournament they've already exceeded my expectations for this year, so they're playing with house money from my perspective anyway.
  16. It's a Dodgeball quote. A stupid reference, granted, but I was feeling it.
  17. Ouchtown, population you, Marquette. 3 more wins should do it, but why not go get some more?
  18. ND goes to UConn and wins. 6-3, tournament bid now apparently more likely than not especially with home dates with Rutgers, DePaul and Providence left on the slate. Absolutely incredible considering the talent level of this roster.
  19. I don't know what more it will take to make it a rivalry. The players don't seem to like each other. The fanbases don't seem to like each other. And the teams are not horribly mismatched anymore. The Bulls are still definitely better but the Pacers are coming fast, and both teams should continue to improve in the next couple years. If there was a playoff series between them, the Bulls would be favored but the Pacers would have a shot to actually win the series. Will it actually take the Pacers beating the Bulls in a playoff series to make it a rivalry? I think that's a pretty strict definition that would lead to pretty much no rivalries in the sport. I don't get the sense that the fan bases hate each other. At least none of the Bulls fans I know really hate the Pacers and my cousin is the only Pacers fan I've ever met and he doesn't seem to hate the Bulls. They've had some pretty good intense games between last year and this year though so it could be building but right now it's hard to call it a true rivalry because it doesn't seem like the Pacers could beat the Bulls in a playoff series. From my limited experience with Pacer fans they have somewhat of an inferiority complex thing with the Bulls. Not really surprising considering my age group were all kids during the Jordan dynasty.

    SUPER BOWL 46

You never thought LaTroy Hawkins was a douche? 8-)

    SUPER BOWL 46

    It's Super Bowl 46.
  22. It deceives the other team.
  23. So Notre Dame won tonight? That's a great win for Mizzou. And in retrospect a much less embarrassing loss for ND than it first appeared.
  24. I like the future of the Irish when they're beating unbeaten top-ranked teams 2 years before most of the players are supposed to be good. Nice job, Brey.
  25. USA Today is reporting that. He's an early enrollee, so he can't really change his mind once in classes, which start tomorrow at ND. Pretty slick by Kelly if true.
