  1. Hell, they beat Bama and win SEC title they will jump all the way to #2. There's no question. Any one loss team that beats Alabama trumps Ohio State or Baylor.
  2. Ed Orgeron is basically demanding the full-time USC job at this point. Also, Oregon is right back in control of its Pac-12 destiny.
  3. They'll win by 28. They just like to tease every now and again.
  4. That was absolutely unbelievable.
  5. Verne actually got it right for once when he said it's probable that his knee was down, but that there isn't enough evidence. Yeah, I agreed with that too.
  6. Colts aren't going to be able to get away with taking entire halves off in the playoffs like they have in 2 of the last 3 games now.
  7. Well, that was fun having BSU being on the outside looking in at the Top 25. See you again in 5 years if the stars align again with the next coach
  8. 2 of the 3 teams you listed have multiple impressive wins (Stanford over Oregon and ASU, South Carolina over Missouri and UCF [both on the road]), and the other - A&M - doesn't have a bad loss as both their defeats were to top 10 teams, albeit at home. As TT alluded to, MSU and Wisconsin are doubtless both good, but neither have any really impressive victories yet.
  9. Franklin is going to get a big-time job (bigger than Illinois, like USC) this offseason and Tressel is still under show-cause, but Petrino could be intriguing.
  10. This is because Georgia fans are absolute idiots. I dont know what they expect but they have had a decade in the top tier of the SEC and played in the SEC title game 6 times. This is a lloyd carr situation and the program thinks it should be better than is reasonable. Bingo. Richt is a terrific coach. He's not Nick Saban, but neither are 123 other FBS coaches. Hell, he was 3 yards away from the NCG last year.
  11. Haha thanks. It's been way too long since Carolina was good, because I was a nervous wreck the entire game. Those 2 fumbles on the Panthers' final drive about made my head explode.

  13. Also, there is no point of replay if every replay official is going to make the clearly wrong call.
  14. This season can go to hell. 3 losses and only 1 to even a remotely decent team.
  15. They just went 11-2. I would think he gets another year. But then, they didn't even wait 3 years to run off Zook.
  16. Man, I'm really going to have to step up my game if I'm going to reclaim my title of most over-the-top homer CFB fan on here.
  17. I freaking love watching Stanford play football.
  18. Yep. I looked at some of those for fantasy baseball purposes in March and he seemingly had half the starters in the majors going over an .800 OPS.
  19. I've literally been waiting almost 5 years for Carolina to play a regular-season game that was actually important. Need to win either at SF or against the Pats next Monday to keep these nascent playoff hopes going.
  20. I wouldn't count on that, but the good news is that MLB.tv is better anyway. I've had both and prefer EI for picture quality and no buffering, but MLBTV is cheaper and I can watch it at work, so it wins.
  21. I made the same mistake. "Please keep the games on WGN, I need to see the games in " (for free like I always have, I don't care about the competitive landscape) I understand the sentiment as I would prefer all Cubs games widely available too - but these people don't get that's not the media age we live in anymore, and that's not the Ricketts' fault.
  22. How does somebody get into baseball late? If I wasn't obsessed with baseball as a kid in the 80s I probably never would have paid attention in my teens. I didn't really get into baseball until being sucked into Cubs fandom by a friend of mine at age 13. My parents didn't watch it, so I never saw much of it before then.
  23. It's not just you. This season definitely seems to be somewhat lacking for drama by CFB standards. Plenty of time left for that to change, though. I noticed the NSBB action has been way down this year also. I have wanted to defend MSU at times this year but there really hasn't been any one to defend them to. I went to the MSU/ND game and assumed afterward that it was a crap game (which it was) between two crap teams (which it apparently wasn't). I'm looking forward to seeing how MSU matches up with the Buckeyes in Indy.
  24. It's not just you. This season definitely seems to be somewhat lacking for drama by CFB standards. Plenty of time left for that to change, though.
  25. Lovie! Heard he was interviewing for the USC job. No joke. Lovie denied those rumors, said he had no clue where the report came from, and said he's not interested. Maybe those fake USC representatives are still on the loose.
