    To put it simply, if we lose a game to Pittsburgh this coming weekend because they BABIP us to death or if Javy makes some incredibly fluky error, we're still going to win the division. If we lose a game to them like that in the NLDS, we then have to beat them 3 out of 4. The playoffs are a crapshoot. Always.

    That's a good question. I imagine there would be something on a foul pole at least the year following the title.

    Yeah next off day is Thursday. Coming off a high energy 4 game weekend series with an extra innings ending, they could use a little rest. The Padres aren't off Thursday, so it could be interesting trying to make the game up if it does not happen.

    Yeah, it's a weird choice, but a great song. Ross's is probably the most apt. Think he'll switch to Queen's Who Wants to Live Forever later in the season? That would be cool, but he seems pretty attached to his current one. I think he's the only player that hasn't changed it once.

    The incessant whining about the complaints in game threads (most of which appear to me to be tongue in cheek anyway) is far more annoying to me than any complaints themselves.

    Yeah with the Cubs scuffling like they are now there's just no way to be patient with a guy like Soler, who has a 12% walk rate and a ridiculous low babip. La Stella is spraying laser beams everywhere, I think we can ride that out for a while and come back to Soler when it inevitably slows down. It's not going to kill him.

    Good to see Heyward back. Hopefully he's close to 100% now and is ready to unleash some line shots on top of his awesome fielding.

    Yes and he used Starlin's music today too you sure? only other song i remember was intoxicated by martin solveig & gta. guess i could've missed it. First AB today. I was listening on audio at the time but it was easily distinguishable.

    The first home game he used Starlin's walk up music and I really hoped he'd just continue with it He changes it up every AB. T-swift is his 3rd ab song i think. Yes and he used Starlin's music today too
