    Well that was a stupidly impressive play by Diaz. But woo, we're up six so as long as Hammel doesn't get lit up I don't have to care much.

    The guy who got us Russell and the guy who got us Rizzo. That could be fun. But not as much fun as having Russell and Rizzo through 2021 on this team. :D

    I would love to see the Heyward boos spark the Cubs back into Death Machine mode.

    Joe's bullpen management can be very confusing at times. It's generally good in the important games so it's not a big worry, but there have been head scratchers at times.

    Or their ludicrous overperformance as a pitching staff with RISP last year. It's always some sort of insane statistical anomaly with these pricks. We're winning this game though.

    There's no way the April Cubs would've let Wainwright escape with only 1 run. But I'll take what I can get.

    That is a horsefeathering awful call. Baez was further inside the lane BEFORE going to his right than he was outside the lane. [expletive].

    Bumgarner plus awesome infield defense is unfair, SF shouldn't be allowed to have both

    We already lost once this weekend because the other team's pitcher got a big hit. I could've done without that.

    Yeah, I was worried about this right when Russell struck out. Addison didn't really do anything wrong there, but you don't get many shots at this guy.

    Why the hell is Matt Cain kicking our ass? How is he still even in the game after throwing 50 pitches in the first 2 or whatever?
