  1. Another bunch of walks from our staff supposedly being coached specifically not to walk people Also this was supposed to be my thread, my bad
  2. How does Fowler's Raggedy Ann arm even make that close?
  3. And this horsefeathers probably means Chatwood is still going to be in the rotation
  4. I am so damn sick of Molina's decrepit decomposing ass getting hits
  5. We sucked, though, so that didn't really fire anyone up that much, I don't think.
  6. If you add 'unexpectedly' to BigSlick's original question, I think you could go back to Edmonds. All the young guys were fun their first 50 ABs, but in a vacuum none of their successes were all that surprising. Edmonds was cooked and what he did was so out of left field; Bote wasn't considered a major prospect so what he's doing has been a nice bonus.
  7. Bote is the balls RIZZO HOLY horsefeathers
  8. I'm willing to trust Chatwood's rotation spot to almost literally anyone in MLB at the moment. Bring on Hamels.
  9. 3 year deal. I agree, starting him any more is malpractice. You can't keep talking about short starts killing us and keep trotting out this clown.
  10. It was, but if Chatwood wasn't terrible he wouldn't create high-leverage situations where a reliever was needed in the fifth freaking inning every start.
  11. Chatwood horsefeathering sucks and it's his fault Duensing was trotted out there.
  12. That was hilarious, Contreras never even looked at Butterfield let alone obey the stop sign.
  13. Really nice diving stop at 2B to get Peralta and probably save 2 runs
  14. He often does, but I have damn near zero sympathy for him. When you suck so bad at throwing strikes, the ump isn't going to help you.
  15. Hopefully that won't matter, but I really miss being excited when Rizzo (or Bryant) was up in a big spot.
  16. If Javy can't run full speed, I have no idea why he was in the game, but at least we have a runner at 2B out of it.
  17. Edwards in straight-up stud mode today.
  18. I'm prepared to be proven wrong, but I saw a Tweet saying Happ's price was too high for some clubs, and if we can't get him for something approximating a bag of balls, I'd be surprised if Theo made the move.
  19. What does this mean? He thinks all our players wilt in big spots except Zobrist.
  20. Because one or both of them have been broken in many of those 66.
  21. Rosenthal already pointed out, too, that the Yankees apparently have so much prospect depth that without some deals like this, they were going to have to expose some guys to the Rule 5 draft that they didn't want to.
