  1. If St. Louis doesn't win it I don't give a rat's ass if that means Milwaukee does
  2. Terrance Gore is among my very favorite players on the team right now, because he actually does his damn job.
  3. 6 Ks down 3 to goThey pinch hit for him so he could do this again on Wednesday.
  4. If we are the 06 Red Sox, that means we're winning it all next year... Right?
  5. Haha Matt Adams has decided to be good at baseball again and puts STL on top against Pittsburgh
  6. We'll, to be fair, literally everyone on that team is worse at baseball today (whether due to injury or age or whatever satanic forces have gotten Russell and Contreras) than then - except for Javy and somehow Zobrist - and there's no legitimate reason we should've seen that coming.
  7. I feel like this team is utterly and completely toast, barring Javy going bananas.
  8. Feels like Schwarber could've done that.
  9. Maybe Rizzo can bat in all 9 spots of the order
  10. Oh my god this team is melting down in front of our eyes
  11. I can't wait for Alec Mills to start an NLDS game.
  12. This lineup is absolutely horsefeathering atrocious
  13. Lester looks terrible. Would have given up like 4 dongs if this were an August game.
  14. Yeah, I don't think for a second MLB intended to horsefeathers over the Cubs this weekend, but they seriously fucked over the Cubs this weekend.

  16. The fact that Youngstown State is playing WVU this weekend reminded me of this cool story from SI's Andy Staples about non-scholarship Butler stunning YSU last weekend. https://www.si.com/college-football/2018/09/06/butler-youngstown-state-upset-fcs-pioneer-league
  17. Tomorrow is my first experience with the "alma mater vs. childhood team" game. I know some others here have had that happen before. Not like I had much trouble deciding who I'd support, but the fact that Ball State already ruined one Notre Dame sports season in the last year certainly cemented any doubt.
  18. It's funny, I really like Impemba and Allen together (being in Michigan I end up seeing a bit more Tigers than I otherwise would) and spent most of last season and this season wondering why bland Kirk Gibson was being emphasized over Allen. I guess I have my answer.
  19. It's starting to feel like the fact that we spent close to $200M on 3 pitchers who aren't going to throw a meaningful pitch after July is catching up with us.
