  1. Had there not been a Cubs game on to distract me, I would have had about 25 posts tonight that went something like this: OMG BEN GORDON <3 <3 <3 BEN GORDON I LOVE YOU BULLS = BEN GORDON That was one of the best games I've seen since...Ben's single-handed demolition of Indiana in the 4th. :D Bulls now would have to tank it to lose the 8th spot (now 1 game up with tiebreaker with 3 games left) and are still only 1 game out of 6th! And they can still finish .500 for the season.

  3. it's not a weakness. that's what happens when you're patient like that. you end up getting strike 3 called a lot. I prefer that to waving at stupid crap and getting strike 3. Besides, my theory is that patient hitters end up getting some leeway from the ump on 2-strike counts. If he doesn't swing, the ump might be more likely to call it a ball because of how patient the hitter is.
  4. And Weurtz shouldn't have joined the team. And to think that Wuertz was the Marshall of 2004: minor leaguer that wins a spot with a money ST.
  5. It's criminal that Marshall, who pitched pretty well, has double the earned runs of Wuertz, who single-handedly tried to give it away. TY Williamson :)
  6. Wasn't it 8-2, like, five minutes ago?
  7. 8-6 Cubs, bases empty. Wuertz throwing gopher balls to everyone.
  8. How many of those runs has Wuertz allowed to cross the plate? Two, I believe.
  9. Angel Pagan pagan is getting alot of pt thus far. is it just me or does he run funny? it's like he doesn't stride far enough or something. Whatever he does, he's just as fast as SlapNasty.
  10. I'm not sure about that though - can anyone confirm?
  11. That wouldn't have happened if no one had kept saying "he hasn't given up a home run yet" after every inning.
  12. Barrett now with a chance to add to his FOURTEEN ribbies this season
  13. The guy we almost traded for Matos is batting .500.
  14. Single to Bay, double play groundout by Randa in back to back plays with the bases loaded and no one out.
  15. Mine too. He's on a couple of mine.
  16. TY Jim Hendry for fleecing the Red Sox!! Murton was a last minute throw in, but yeah, it worked out well for us. Hendry refused to do the deal without Murton as I recall. He knew what he was getting.
