think so? Hawk was a no-brainer, but Hodge is hardly a savior.... he's a steal in the 3rd round IMO. Agreed. Picks 88 and 89 are Carolina's...

In two years, they could be competing for a playoff spot. I picked them to go 7-9 in 04, then followed it up by predicting a 9-7 season last year. Ummm...

FWIW he was listed as a WR on NFL.com, so perhaps that's the rationale behind the pick.

The Pack took Greg Jennings out of WMU earlier - he's a great player, tore up Ball State for over 200 yards and 3 scores in the five-OT classic this year. Solid pick for them.

Carolina coming up again. I don't care who they take; after DeAngelo everything else is gravy. They'll probably pick a LB, but it'd be cool if they picked Stovall.

Yellow Submarine was written as a children's song and was never meant to be taken seriously. You won't see it on any greatest songs ever list, so it's hard to imagine how that song could be used to show that the beatles were overhyped. It's a popular song, but nobody would argue that it's some brilliant song. I once heard a DJ on the radio say it was a metaphor for communism... :roll: Naw, it was written by Lennon/McCartney because they needed a song for Ringo to sing on the "Revolver" album. Since Ringo couldn't, and still can't, still worth a crap, they usually gave him silly songs to sing. Such was the case with Yellow Submarine. The Beatles certainly didn't like communism, "Revolution" makes John's feelings on it seem pretty obvious. However, "Imagine" could be taken by many as a song about communism. It does seem like a procommunist song when you think about it but I'm sure that wasn't the intent. I passed 5000 posts earlier today.

Giants trade up and get Sinorice Moss. VERY nice pick for them, I think Moss may end up the best WR of this draft.

well we have 2 2nd round picks and at least 2 3rd round picks as well. I guess Thompson thinks quantity is better than quality. What'd they get for that pick that they traded Walker for? I'm so confused right now. New Orleans trades their 2nd-rounder to Denver, who trades it for Javon Walker, and Green Bay trades it to Atlanta presumably for 3rd-rounders. I can see why you're confused.
