The Red Roof on Ontario is a really nice hotel IMO. My friends and I are making it our Wrigley trip hotel for the third straight season. Right near the ESPN Zone too.
I think some nsbb'ers should chip in when it gets us on Sports Center too. Hopefully its an embarassing game, so the protest coincides with the performance. I believe Z is scheduled to pitch, so it's unlikely.
It may just be my anti-Sox bias kicking in here, but the stats presented in the article sure do seem to give this more credibility than Buehrle's constant accusations.
The life blood of this team is Andres Nocioni. But I'm quite glad that there are so many exciting young players on this team that we are arguing over which one is the most exciting. :)
Pierre is the one who can do most harm to this team by remaining since Dusty will not move him, and since I have little faith in Hendry not to bring him back based solely on his SB totals, I say trade him.
Pretty much everything that has happened since Game 6 of the 2003 NLCS has been in the effort of the Baseball Gods to kill us all. The 2006 World Series between the Sox and Cards would pretty much end that work. With the Cardinals winning it. Blood would be pouring from my eyes by the end of the Game 1 player intros, so I wouldn't notice.
