  1. Yeah, I definitely hadn't realized that was a glove until just recently. The MB has always been there in my mind.
  2. What makes the OSU/Michigan loser any better than Auburn, Florida, Arkansas, USC, Louisville, West Virginia, ND/Texas, or Cal? You could make an argument for OSU/Michigan loser as the second best team in the country but I have a hard time believing the choice as obvious. Most certainly isn't obvious. I would put Florida, at the least, in front of the OSU/Michigan loser, although putting any more in front of them may depend on what the margin of victory is.
  3. For the record I think Michigan is going to beat Ohio State. Troy Smith hasn't impressed me that much and I think UM's defense will eat him up just like they did Quinn.
  4. could be, which would be a shame. If that happened, I would hope for a total clusterhump in the SEC plus Cal beating USC, USC beating ND, and Texas losing the Big XII game. Then you'l have a bunch of TWO loss teams to sort through (or open the door for Boise St., though they'll never get love from the pollsters) No, then you'd have an Ohio State-Michigan rematch. If Rutgers goes unbeaten, they'd better as hell play in the title game.
  5. What's he done (I can't watch)? He made a nice spin move right through the lane in the middle of about 3 Cavs and got an easy layup out of it. It was more impressive than it appeared on TV.
  6. I really hope not. An undefeated Rutgers would be the most improbable, ridiculous thing in the history of sports.
  7. RUTGERS WINS
  8. GET OFF THE FIELD
  9. RUTGERS HAS THE LEAD
  10. Holy crap offsides, a 2nd chance. That's just incredible.
  11. Make this kick, please, I want freaking Rutgers in the title game
  12. GO RUTGERS If the Knights win, they have to be a top-6 team at least. Put them in front of all the 1-loss teams except Florida, Auburn and Texas. Probably ranked 6th. (Although I'd put them 3)
  13. Thabo is friggin good. This kid's going to be something.
  14. It's TAH-bo. Like Tae-Bo. No H. No one will be mispronouncing it before long... C'mon Bulls, get back in this thing.
  15. no way. It is somewhat obvious that it is a "db" There are still people who are just first realizing that the ball and glove logo has an mb in it. You guys just blew my mind  . I had NEVER noticed that. Am I the only one that didn't notice it was a ball and glove logo for a long time? The MB was pretty obvious to me.
  16. Nope. Miller: 21.2 IP, 1.71 WHIP, 1.11 K/BB, 1.66 HR/9, .232/.376/.402/.771 line against Marshall: 125.2 IP, 1.52 WHIP, 1.30 K/BB, 1.43 HR/9, .270/.356/.444/.795 line against Marmol: 77 IP, 1.69 WHIP, 1.00 K/BB, 1.63 HR/9, .250/.386/.482/.862 line against Guzman: 56 IP, 1.88 WHIP, 1.62 K/BB, 1.44 HR/9, .308/.416/.507/.915 line against Mateo: 45.2 IP, 1.62 WHIP, 1.52 K/BB, 1.18 HR/9, .288/.376/.475/.841 line against Ryu: 15 IP, 1.93 WHIP, 2.83 K/BB, 4.26 HR/9, .348/.419/.758/1.160 line against :?: Not helping your cause here. It would've been disengenous to conveniently leave him off. The contention was that Miller was significantly better than all of them. When in actuality, he was significantly better than all of them except Sean Marshall. Not sure what your point is. I like the signing.
  17. It bugs me that Hendry won't just give him 5/75 if that is what he wants. This is getting ridiculous. I can't believe Hendry won't give him that. Either the tribune is wrong in the price or Hendry is being way too stubborn. Boy, I don't like Hendry. What benefit does a take-it-or-leave-it offer have for the Cubs. Resigning Aramis only keeps the status que, loosing him means Hendry will have to replace another hole. Why is it always one step forward, two steps back with the Cubs? Did I miss a step forward? Our recent coaching hires would probably qualify.
  18. I seriously doubt either team will look ahead, but I think NW will give OSU a better game than IU will give Michigan.
  19. Decent, not great. I like the red alternates.
  20. That was not from my seats. Here's a picture from where I was. http://photos-853.ak.facebook.com/ip002/v49/135/60/20701877/n20701877_31937853_2061.jpg Not great, but for 30 bucks and considering that most of the big plays (INT for TD, the score to put us within 8, and three of Michigan's TDs as well) were in that endzone, I'd say I got my money's worth. :D
  21. I'd guess Stoney is more likely to get recognition as a Nats color guy than as ESPN's D-crew color guy.
  22. Things are changing quickly with this team, and I'm loving it.
  23. I'm not sure about still the easy pre-season schedule. Duke, Southern Illinois, Kentucky, the preseason NIT (hopefully past the first two rounds), and I know this game is actually during the conference season but Connecticut should make this non-conference season again a little too much. I fully support having a couple tests non-conference, but playing what is likely to be 4-5 top 25 teams non-conference (depending on how the preseason NIT goes) before going into the Big 10 is a little too much for me. Well, this team learning the system will certainly be battle-tested by the time it comes to conference play once again, however. I didn't say it was easy. I said "easiest in a while". I expect at least 3 non-conference losses, and as many as 6 (including an annual slip up against a state rival ND, Butler, ISU). But Duke is the only one looking like a mismatch, unless they meet UNC in the NIT. UK, SIU, and even UConn are all pretty even teams to me. And if they past the 1st 2 rounds in the NIT, Gonzaga and Tennessee are comparable and beatable teams. A lot of inexperience in college basketball this season. Does anyone have a returning contributor that's a senior? The answer to that is Colin Falls, the best shooter in the country, for ND. If only he could do anything else...
  24. I think USC will lose to Cal for sure, and if they keep playing like they have been, they'll lose to ND as well.
  25. It's true, but many teams don't play anyone still. ND plays one decent team before the Big East starts, Alabama at home (although Butler could be considered decent, and ND could play IU in the preseason tourney they're in if things fall correctly). It's not a wise move for a team that got screwed for the tournament in 2004 and 2005 largely based on a not-tough-enough schedule.
