  6. Stupidass rams. They have no oline
  7. Bears will have a great choice of DE
  8. Don't see the Cox thing happening. I think Philly will move up for him or Carolina may take him at 9. I think the Bears only come in play if he gets past Carolina at 9. Seattle at 12 is a prime trade spot. I'd go from 19 to 12 for Fletcher Cox in a heartbeat provided the trade package was reasonable. I think anything is possible at this point. I was sold on Mercilus and even open to Chandler Jones, but the more I sit and think about it, I'm able to rationalize avoiding both players. There are about 4 blue chip prospects in this draft, the rest are gambles. Speaking of Seattle, NE has inquired about trading up to their spot.
  9. Strange, but Mike Mayock thinks Chandler Jones could end up being the best defensive player in the draft in the next few years. To be honest, I see red flags with Mercilus, Jones and Coples. Thats why I think I've changed my mind with going DE and I take a DT or CB at the 19th spot. One of Brockers, Gilmore or Kirkpatrick should be around. Who knows, Perhaps the Bears are looking to move into the top 10 for Fletcher Cox. They worked him out privately for a reason.
  10. Brad Biggs is reporting that the Bears recently put Fletcher Cox thru a private workout
  11. The problem is paying these guys big time money
  12. Reports are that the Colts are shopping DE Dwight Freeney
  13. I'm thinking DE then CB or vice versa with the first two picks. WR in the third.
  14. Getting Osi + drafting a Dlineman in the first round would inject scary potential with our defense.
  15. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2012/mock-drafts/michael-lombardi/130112?module=HP11_hot_topics LOL at Lombardi's mock draft. Check it out.
  16. We badly need a holmstrom type of player that can mix it up in front of the net and of course a goaltender
  17. The hawks looked like [expletive] all series The SOG were clear looks for smith with very little traffic in front of the net
  18. I think we score within two minutes of the second
  19. I'm starting to think the Bears are going to draft a great prospect that is going to slip. You now have Chandler Jones and the DB Gilmore quickly rising up the board. One of WR Floyd, DE Coples, or OL Reiff will slip in my opinion down to Chicago. Coples still scares me.
  20. I doubt he'd even get to 19 but yeah, I definitely can't see them passing on Floyd if he's there. Yeah, Michael Lombardi has him slipping
  21. Some of the latest mocks have the bears passing on Michael Floyd with him slipping past 19. Thankfully I highly doubt that they would do that
  22. rob was saying he wished we'd held onto him until closer to the deadline; you seem dissatisfied with the trade for reasons that aren't completely clear. I have no problem with the trade; I'm just baffled by people who rag on a player like Byrd on the way out the door, doing things like calling him "a bum." Nobody can pretend like he's been anything other than awful this season, but I don't understand the meatballish tendency to trash a player like that. I love how you have taken this one word phrase I have used to describe Byrds current play(like Marlon Byrd actively posts here and will read this) and ran with it. Maybe you should offer up an orginal baseball opinion of your own for once instead of contantly going after everyone with your sanctimonious attitude. He never offers up his own opinion, but instead opts to troll on everyone else and engage in douchebaggery
  23. Man your posts are [expletive]
  24. All this crap is a non issue, but for distractions and injuries this late in the season to arise is both annoying and fatal.
