  1. And why do you think he can't finish now but could in Utah? Read the above post? He was younger and maybe was able to finish with a dunk more then 2 times a year?
  2. If you bring in Bush, that essentially rules out Forte getting a fixed deal. I think they would just draft a new RB next year.
  3. the PnR works great if the roller can drive to the basket and finish. How often is it, that Boozer gets called for a charge, or his softy layup gets swatted into the 10th row?
  4. Why not? If the Bears have over 12 mill left in capspace?
  5. not really. At this point, they could draft heavy those two positions. Either way, they need to add another impact player with that much in cap space. Especially if Marshall is suspended for 6-8 games. Manningham would be interesting and of course Mario or even Wimbley would be win.
  6. KC says that Deng should play. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/bulls/ct-spt-0314-bits-bulls-chicago--20120314,0,5640455.story Lawrence Holmes on The Score has said 'Rose will play.' Dont know how solid that is.
  7. Bears need to address DE and OL in FA. At pick 19 if Floyd falls to them, I wonder if they pick him and invest even more in that position.
  8. Free agent CB Kelvin Hayden has a scheduled visit with da bears tomorrow
  9. John Clayton calls the Skins "early FA winners." Bahahahaha
  10. I have a feeling that the bears won't get either vj or Mario...
  11. Maybe he doesn't want to come here because of Rose?
  12. Jeremy Lin has become a liability for NY. Taking 20 shots and making 5 of them is horrible.
  13. Actually, I really like RG3 in Shanahan's offense and I think he can thrive in it. I do doubt their ability to put a good team around him after giving up this many quality picks, though. This type of trade would have worked great for the Dolphins imo. They've got good wideouts, two good RBs in the backfield and Long at LT. Do the Skins even have a decent OL?
  14. Either way you cut it, it was a horrible trade. The skins should have just went full rebuild mode and keep the picks. They have no skill position players to help RG3 and now they're going to horrifically overpay for a mediocre skill player.
  15. I think the article is ridiculous. The Bulls are a team led by a guy who isn't even 24 and have had the best record in the NBA for the past 2 seasons. They've really had 1 playoff run. The Jazz or the Knicks never had the best record in the league, and Ewing, Stockton and Malone had many more seasons coming short. Didn't both teams make the finals only once? After years and years in the playoffs? Zuba probably thought that the Mavs of last year, the Piston teams with Rip and Chauncey, and perhaps the championship Spurs teams were in basketball hell too. How about letting the Bulls lose a few before declaring that. Of course the Heat are the favorite, but declaring them an unstoppable dynasty before they even win 1 lousy championship? Didn't everyone kill LeBron for joking about this? And which Bulls fan wouldn't want Dwight Howard? I'm pretty sick of the talk too. If it happens, great. But its not going to. So I wish the damn media would shut the hell up about it. I think the article is not too far fetched. How many years can rose hold up with his size, playing style and workload?
  16. I think Monta Ellis can be had. Jamal Crawford might be an option. Some lessor names are out there in Beasley and Derrick Williams. I haven't looked at the FAs in upcoming years.. Either way drose is coming across the wrong way and could go a long way in wooing over some talent
  17. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/03/08/zuba-bulls-stuck-in-basketball-hell/ This article eloquently puts my thoughts in a good arrangement. The bulls are stuck in basketball hell. Rose wont be this good forever.
  18. Daily dime on Espn has a great article up about tonight's game... The bulls are a one trick pony and as it stands, we have two injured starters. This is a lost season without Hamilton. Not only do we lose a starter but we lose bench depth. I don't want them to force a deal, however they must do something to fix the offense at some point and the bulls have been passed up by multiple free agent all stars. Howard will be added to the list
  19. Brilliant. What's brilliant is sitting on your hands and getting beaten in 5 games by Miami again due to the same exact problems as last years team. In fact, Bogans > Brewer as a starting SG.
  20. Back up the truck. I'm officially on board with trading anybody for some scoring. Rose cannot survive in a 7 game series by being the only source of offense.
  21. Peyton is going to go the Dolphins.... I'm 100% sure of this.
  22. I fail to see why the Cards would take a WR with that pick.
  23. Lovie Smith went out and dined with WR Stephen Hill according to the Trib......... I think the two WR prospects I like the best are the obvious choices of Hill and Floyd.
  24. Wow. Felons partially funding an illegal bounty/injury system with the complicity of the HC? Yeah, the Saints are in deep [expletive]. How many top picks are they going to have to surrender, I wonder? To make things worse, Ornstein is the same guy that got Reggie Bush in trouble and also defrauded the NFL with Superbowl tickets/merchandise.
  25. Holy moly......reports coming out that the Saints had a private booster contributing towards the 'bounty fund'. The booster is an ex-felon Michael Ornstein and there are emails now in the possession of the NFL from him to Sean Payton. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/03/06/report-private-booster-contributed-to-bounty-fund/
