  1. Two CBS mocks have the Bears taking DE Upshaw and LB Luke Kuchiely (sp) With both picks they're passing up Michael Floyd and I just dont see that happening.
  2. Watched the DVR, I liked Boozer in last nights game. Showed some energy, defense and lift.
  3. LOL. You sure love to ride my nuts after every post...
  4. Ya let's just hang with them!
  5. This one is easy for me. It all boils down to having to restructure and re-arrange this team. If the Bulls value Rose as their #1 scorer and superstar, they need to give him a legit offensive option to work with. He cannot bring the ball up and drive down the lane getting whacked for the next 8 or more seasons 80% of the time. He won't hold up.
  6. Thibs rode both rose and dent for too long in that game.
  7. According to the trig, Rose has a new ankle injury and was seen wearing a walking boot......
  8. Latest mock draft on NFL.com has Floyd falling to 19 to the Bears.
  9. Looking at the roster, the Bears return 20 of their 22 starters who started the opening game last year. The 2 that are replaced are Chris Harris with Chris Conte and Roy Williams with Brandon Marshall. So, I think the Bears will go into the draft looking for depth, starting with rotational players first (i.e. players at not positions where 1 player plays every down unless injured: QB, OL, LB). I don't know that they go DT early, because they did just draft Paea early, and with Toeina they are really just looking for a 4th DT. And I'd imagine if all goes well this year and in the draft, they can get away by moving Peppers, Wootton and/or Idonije inside on passing downs to get extra pass rush. I don't think those CBs should stop the Bears from going CB early. They are both on 1 year deals, Jennings is on an easy-to-cut 2 year deal. Tillman will be 32 going into 2013, not drafting CB would force their hand next draft. I think DE, WR, and CB will still be the first 3 picks (my first 3 picks all off-season) with DT, LB, OL and either SS or TE to round out the draft. If Barron is there at 19 do you do it? Kirkpatrick, wright , perry, merciles, which one do you go with if all four are there?
  10. First round must be BPA at this point
  11. Korver adds very little playing huge minutes like he did. This team needs rip in the worst way
  12. Rose choked at the ft line again.........
  13. Strange regular season, that's for sure
  14. I've already gone on record to say if RIP is not healthy and playing, they're donezo. If he is, then they have a chance.
  15. LOL@ thinking Barkley is worth listening to. That's not the point. And neither are Magic or Broussard. The point is that the media doesn't hate the Bulls and think they have no shot against Miami, which is what you said everyone says. But see, he can just dismiss everybody who does like the Bulls as crappy analysts. It's a fool proof plan. Not true. I'd rather put stock in Jon Barry who's pulling for Chicago as opposed to Barkley. At any rate, the clear majority of analysts and professionals are picking the Heat to win. Hopefully the Bulls win out and make it to the Finals, but if not it's going to be funny when you guys start to become logical with this team and pretend like you knew all along they wouldn't have much of a chance. I'll eat crow no problem if I'm wrong.
  16. wow, what a stupid post. Anyways, I think this was the nail in the coffin for Williams. Goodell will never let him coach in the NFL again. That's for sure. Yeah how stupid is it that NFL coaches for the last 40 years have been coaching up their teams to destroy and harm their opponents! All of a sudden it's a big problem? The NFL is violence in motion, the league has to accept that. The focus seems to have shifted from Greg Williams putting money down for the hits and now to what he said in that audio recording.
  17. LOL@ thinking Barkley is worth listening to. Great team win tonight. Deng really came up big. Loved that John Lucas three.
  18. His stats look nice as a part time player. I think if anything this indicates that the first two picks of the upcoming draft will NOT be CB. WR and DE in the first two rounds, after that its BPA.
  19. Bears sign CB Jonathan Wilhite
  20. Good depth move. I think the Bears are definitely going after a WR in first round. Wright is my bet.
  21. It all boils down to politics and politically correct garbage. Who cares what Gregg Williams said? He's pumping up his team and trying to get them out there to lay wood on the enemy. Big deal.
  22. I don't know how I feel about Mercilus. I think this year at DE, there are question marks about all of the first round talents.
  23. That's not really true. Just a week or two ago, Magic and Broussard said that Miami looked [expletive] and wanted in on the Bulls bandwagon over Miami and Jon Barry told them there wasn't any room. Smart guys? Not really, but the entire media and NBA world is definitely not picking the Heat, which is what you said. Perhaps they'll rejoin the Miami Heat bandwagon after watching the Bulls get destroyed by OKC and losing to the Rockets. Listening to Mark Schanowski from CSN today talk about DRose, the groin injury is a serious injury which had some sort of small tear and it will take Rose a long time to get back to 100%. Speculation being that he'll return to normal halfway through the playoffs. Now to pick the Bulls as a favorite in anything significant to this point is foolishness. This team is banged up and out of sync with Rip and Rose.
  24. Zero percent chance of winning that game. Well played
  25. Uh oh. Giants again....
