  1. The Bears ran man-coverage quite a bit last year...
  2. I'm on board with this idea. I think its best to go after Mario Williams and then take a veteran receiver in free agency. At the very least, you can get Carr or Finnegan to help @ CB.
  3. What bar? Anyhow dude is still a freakin specimen even if he likes his booze. Yogis bar. And here I'd have guessed he'd be a PB or downtown kinda guy. Too many MMA wannabes out there. Yogi's is a good place to go to where people won't bother an athlete because most people on the coast don't care about sports. I've never seen him drinking a bunch, just basically hanging out. I could be wrong, but if he gets another DUI he's looking at a big time suspension right?

  5. How in the world is trading Noah or Deng "blowing up" the team? I said that the team will be blown up + one of deng/noah would go. Looking at the trade scenarios, we'd have to part with 3-4 guys at least. That's not blowing up the team. Oh what is the official definition of 'blowing up the team'? Trading 2-3 starters plus some of our best bench depth to me is a radical but needed change worthy of using the phrase 'blowing up the team.'
  6. How in the world is trading Noah or Deng "blowing up" the team? I said that the team will be blown up + one of deng/noah would go. Looking at the trade scenarios, we'd have to part with 3-4 guys at least. The only untouchable on this team is Rose and as much as I love Deng, I'd rather have Howard.
  7. If the Bulls dont find a way to get past the Heat this year, this team will be blown up in order to secure a solid #2 option. That is my belief. One of Noah or Deng will go.
  8. I live in SD and VJs problem is going out. I've seen him at the local bar down the street many times during summer. He's usually dancing alone wearing a hat low so nobody recognizes him. He's got 2 DUIs
  9. This. Watching Brewer dribble drives me nuts. Both he and Korver cannot ball handle for their life. I'd like to at least give Rose the option to play off the ball.
  10. Rose has 2 points in 14 minutes played and 3 minutes left in the 2nd quarter....
  11. John Lucas carrying us offensively.
  12. I hate the Bulls offensively. It's Rose or die every big game.
  13. That would be a fun defense. OK, assuming we sign Williams, what would our next step be? who do we draft? WR/OT/CB/DE depth
  14. Good. Now maybe he can find a job at the front gate
  15. Just saw an updated mock draft that has the Bears trading their first round pick and their original third round pick to move up to the #13 overall pick (Seattle) to take Floyd.
  16. Hamilton makes a huge difference to this team when healthy. Brewer is horribad as the starting 2.
  17. Rip starting tonight.
  18. Is Hill now considered a potential first round pick?
  19. The Chargers are so [expletive]. They pay Malcolm Floyd, Gates and now VJ?
  20. this team is badly in need of some scoring + athleticism.
  21. All I want is a WR. One of Michael Floyd, VJ, Colston, Bowe or Mike Wallace and I'll be completely happy.
  22. The Bears have so many FA options and that additional 3rd round pick certainly helps, that we should be able to fill OT/WR/DE rather easily. The last updated mock drafts ive seen, have the bulls taking a TE in the 2nd round.
  23. The Celtics suck. One more season until they feed on the bottom for years to come. Meanwhile the Bulls with a healthy Rip and Rose have a great chance to beat the Heat in the ECF.
  24. Win.
  25. The Steelers are in cap misery. They most likely will re-work Big Ben's contract or Harrison's contract to free up space. BTW OT Marcus Mcneil will be waived by SD to clear up cap room too.
