    Well I think the fact that we have average at best o-line and below average WRs is really starting to affect this team. Jay needs a big target to be throwing to, not all these midgets.

    This is the year where all these draft day misses are going to hurt the Bears. How bad are our WRs, CBs and Safetys? No LB or DE depth?

    With our O-line making strides, it looks like the WR corp are really holding this offense back. We're a legit #1 receiver from being a pretty high caliber offense imo.

    I've changed my stance in regards to this FA period. After hearing and reading about Edwards, I feel not only was he overrated but he's a headache waiting to happen. We're talking about a guy who has his share of drops and stupid plays. If anything my complaint is that the Bears didn't completely shore up their O-line. But maybe with Tice working on this squad for two seasons and hoping that some of these guys have progressed, maybe he feels that some of these young players will take the next step?

    So your contention is that Roy Williams and Sam Hurd are the same or worse than Devin Aromoshadu and Rashied Davis? The argument is that the WR upgrades are countered by TE downgrades, since Olsen was a pass catching threat. ^^^^this. Olsen was seriously underused in Martz' system. I really dont care if he likes TE or not, if you have a difference maker and a matchup advantage with ANY player, it would be foolish to not utilize that.

    The Bears have made very little to NO clear upgrades. Our OL is the same + 1 draft pick and by all accounts Spencer has his share of problems. We lost our best offensive pass catcher and added two receivers who have not been successful in recent memory. I cannot began to wonder what JA and his 15 scouts are thinking here. I dont mind a youth movement, but you have done nothing to help Jay Cutler in the last 2 years.

    That's why you should have drafted more of them over the years. Sounds just like Hendry who was also bemoaning the state of the team while glossing over the fact that he's the one who has compiled the team for over a half decade. Anyone else think JA was a little too sarcastic and VERY defensive of his "strategy" if you would like to call it that.

    With the Jets signing Plax.....that leaves Edwards out of one more option. Perhaps the Bears could seriously consider it? Any news regarding Zach Miller?
