Right. His declaration was that they were doomed because they didn't have a fallback plan to make them as good as a Bulls team with Rose if Rose went down. His theory also hinged on them not being able to score and not being "athletic." It was meatball-ery at its worst. Nobody is here is saying the Bulls are a perfect team, aren't flawed, and couldn't be better. People are taking issue with his usual histrionics. I mean, at least there's some truth in advertising in that ridiculous sig he has. Yikes, your pompous arrogance is quite nauseating. A ridiculous sig? What an outrage! SOMEBODY CALL THE COPS. Meatball-ery? How corny. The Bulls have a flawed roster to do battle with the Heat and Thunder. The John Lucas game was fun, but the odds are that won't happen again. If I'm not mistaken, my original thought was even WITH Rose they're completely doomed. With Rip they stand a fighting chance, although at this point Rip looks to be a shell of his former self. (I just read an article of how he felt pain after head faking on his first possession.) So you're free to cling to your big hopes that the result this year will change with the same formula employed last year, the same thing expecting different results (Definition of insanity.) While I stick to my opinion that something needs to change for a different result (Finals appearance). Last year the team was on a roll and Rose was the MVP. This year, not so much. So I guess you can argue that there is a difference between this years team, and last years team. This years team is worse.
