  1. To reiterate, I don't want Manningham as a 1. But if we spend big on DE or O Line, I would like to see Manningham and a 1st round WR as our starters next year.
  2. How much do you see Manningham getting? I don't see him getting more than 4/24ish or so. Maybe 12 to 15 guaranteed? I'm OK with that for him.
  3. The WR we add in FA will dictate how we look at the draft moreso than anything else. Other than V-Jax, I don't see a true number one out there. I like Manningham. I like Meachem. Colston is OK, but he evidently is working towards stayong in New Orleans tonight. Wayne is a package with Peyton. I don't want Lloyd or Garcon. I guess having a Laurent Robinson, Doucet, Morgan, Royal, or Simpson would give us a minimal upgrade, but if we spend big elsewhere, I want Manningham oe Meachem, with a 1st rounder spent on WR as well.
  4. If I knew I could get V-Jax and Wimbley for the same price it takes to get Mario, I'd take the pair for sure. In the end, I guess it all comes down to money. It is not an easy call and I really want a WR bigtime. But I think we can add a WR like a Meachem and draft a Floyd, Wright, Hill in the 1st and be good at WR.
  5. We can add a second tier WR though, like a Manningham and still get Williams. And draft a WR in the 1st, if we like someone enough.
  6. I am actually coming around on Colston because I think he may get overlooked and undervalued, in the end. It won't surprise me to see Meachem get close to the same money as him.
  7. I want a WR as much or more than anyone, but getting Mario would be awesome. Hell, it probably is possible to add him and V-Jax but it certainly would require some resructuring of others. That said, maybe you could add Manningham? Colston or Meachem? One of those WR's, draft one relatively early as well and we could have a hell of an offseason.
  8. I was thinking Lake would probably start off there. I guess he could be in Iowa though or at a position other than SS.
  9. Randy Moss signs a one year deal with the 49er's.
  10. In a surprise, at least to me, Candelario, Vogelbach, Shoulders, and Javier Baez were all moved from the Peoria squad to Boise/Mesa today.
  11. Concepcion showed up at Fitch and was put at Tennessee to start out.
  12. It would be really cool to see Urlacher, Tillman, Peppers, and Hester restructure to give us even more room. This is probably the most excited I have been for FA in a long time.
  13. Texans released Eric Winston a bit ago. Does he fit with us at RT, moving Carimi to LT?
  14. They are close to 40 mill under right now, no clue whether they have guys they can cut or restructure, after letting go of Otogwe and Sellers today. I don't know whethet or not they have much coming off their books next year either. Your point about only having a day to figure this out is a great one. I am hopeful this deters them somewhat, but if there is ever a team that makes moves and thinks latwr, it's this bunch. It'll be interesting tomorrow for sure.
  15. I hate asking, but who is Moon Mullin?
  16. You guys realize rookies are slotted now right? Griffin is going to get a contract very close to what Von Miller got at 2 last year, which was 4 years and 21 mill. The Redskins most likely wanted to push the trade through, so they could get their franchise QB and still have quite a bit of cash to throw around. As a guy living right in the middle of Redskin country, listening to their beat guys talk, and seeing fans responses, I do think they'll spend this year. They need a weapon for Griffin and they probably would rather get one now, instead of waiting til next year when no one knows who is out there. Not to mention the fact that they are certainly a horribly run organization and will usually make the wrong decision.
  17. Hasn't been mentioned on here, but we've been mentioned to be interested in Laron Landry. Also, Levi Brown, Kevin Boss, and Ron Bartell were all released today. All of who could be of some interest as well.
  18. Didn't you just post this a half hour before? Yeah, I was responding to ctcf, I had posted about Barber immediately after the first time and didn't know if he saw it could be spread over two years.
  19. This will not affect the Redskins going after V-Jax at all. The 36 mill can be spread out over 2 years and they'll spend as much as they can this year. If anything, they'll go after V-Jax even harder. They are that dumb.
  20. Rotoworld says Marion Barber has moved out of his Chicago apartment and expects to be cut in the next few days. We did tender Khalil Bell today, as expected.
  21. It can be spread over two years. I doubt it affects them going after V-Jax at all honestly. Because they aren't smart enough to spread it around more than one guy.
  22. I am glad Zimmer has stepped up because it basically gives us a solid group of 6, counting Giolito. I have seen Justin Upton used as a comp for Buxton.
  23. See I think it'd be hilarious when Peyton goes to Denver. The Tebow-maniacs are gonna lose their freaking minds, and will be entertaining as hell. I heard the Jags are looking for fans. What kind of trade value does Tim Tebow have though? Cuz the Broncos could just keep him as a backup. Although they have Quinn too. That's the thing. Jacksonville is probably the only team in the NFL that would look at him as their building block. So why would they give up something of value for him since they surely know this too?
  24. If we can come out of this offseason with a go to WR and another 2/3 guy, maube add one solid addition to the line, I really see this offense having a great shot at being elite.
  25. It would be hard to turn that down. It is risky though because if Dwight left and uou did not win it all this year, you are stuck without havong another teal shot for a few seasons.
