  1. i mean it's already known that they're very good at detecting pitch tipping so why wouldn't they be adept at sign stealing When asked which teams excel at this art form, players pointed to the clubs with both the deepest pockets and the keenest eyes: The Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies were all mentioned, as were the Cleveland Guardians, Houston Astros and Milwaukee Brewers.
  2. this is probably true but it shouldn't obscure that one of their players intercepted a pass, dropped it and another player kicked it into the end zone for the opposing team to cover up for a TD which brings them to 0-3 since their owner rented out their stadium for a white nationalist's funeral
  3. he hides behind his 'faith' in every single quote here and suggests there wasn't political camaraderie with Kirk which rings so pathetically hollow and probably dishonest from a guy that cheerfully did the Trump dance last year after an XBH
  4. a new, better sulley has emerged
  5. *Ragnow (& BJ)
  6. bench add: Nick Kurtz bench drop: James Wood
  7. looks like Hank White but, no tattoos
  8. drop: Willson Contreras ($50) add: Cal Raleigh ($100)
  9. he's got a good, accurate arm but his range is pretty bad
  10. been more than 30 days since this, so bench drop: Uncle Ben's Rice (NYY) bench add: Ronald Acuña Jr. (ATL)
  11. what's really wild to me is over the last month, Ben Brown is top-5 (!) in all MLB for K-BB%, xFIP & SIERA so i do feel better seeing that despite a horrid 6.20 ERA caused by extreme LOB%, BABIP, the best available evidence suggests he's likely headed for much better days going forward if he continues the same processes he's doing; but i do accept the possibility that fielding-independent stats may struggle to gauge extreme 2-pitch starters look at this elite company though, i'm still plenty content to play out the string for a while forcing him to tinker a lil bit in the background with a show-me change or whatever
  12. add LF Daulton Varsho , drop LF Teoscar Hernández
  13. please: add LF Teoscar Hernandez, drop LF Yordan Alvarez add DH Shohei Ohtani, drop DH Mike Trout updated team total $925 for my future reference: 2 lineup transactions used after this submits, 1 bench change used
  14. 9 hard hits & 4 BBs off Skenes is kinda shocking
  15. his recruiting class also featured Fields, Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance..
  16. the Corey Patterson hype realized actually gets pretty close; stylistically,Victorino & Ellsbury work pretty well from recent memory i had seen it mentioned somewhere that he applied a swing change around 7/27 last year and that gives even more optimism he can sustain elite value over a bigger sample
  17. Triantos is a far worse fielder than Workman, and he's off to a terrible start hitting
  18. i think they missed the boat on this, the time to do this was last spring despite his struggles as a show of faith for his ability (also, why aren't they doing this for Shaw as we speak?) you don't wait til he's peaking as top-10 WAR in the early going to start conversations, agents are going to probably laugh in your face
