  1. a false sense of confidence
  2. or if the Hossa rebound went in, just to be called back because time expired for a couple seconds
  3. they should have pulled their goalie 5 minutes sooner
  4. wow
  5. well so much for that
  6. fiiiinally thank you Hudler now I can go to bed
  7. the CBC announcers don't have too much problem with the interference calls. poor Fleury. the Pens aren't even thinking about trying to score.
  8. Here's a game. It's called "count the good pitchers on the Tigers roster." Get past one and I'll give you a toy. at least 3
  9. Malkin with his first pt of the series on that goal too, better late than never
  10. it'll take awhile though icings and dump offs every time Detroit gets the puck in their zone
  11. god Datsyuk is a magician
  12. might be time to invest in a visor
  13. heh let's not ignore Pujols' elbow and the lost season they'll have once it finally blows. i'm just really not sold on their young talent whatsoever. they have a lot of work to do to be a formidable contender.
  14. KRONWALL
  15. 55% GB ratio and 11 K/9 this kid is fantastic and I don't know of many pitchers I'd trade him for
  16. i always liked Wellemeyer and I'm glad he's found success once given a chance to start and even better that it's a team that doesn't pose any threat to us in the standings and won't for a few years
  17. yeah one of those guys listed really sticks out don't forget carl crawford either .276/.323/.384 but 39 runs
  18. it's still the Tigers division to lose. i think they do it and by more than just a couple games.
  19. Except they already have a lot of talent that is already very good. Cordero, Dunn, Harang, Volquez, Phillips, Arroyo and I'd even say Votto and Bruce. Bailey, Encarnacion and Cueto are wild cards. At any rate, we'll still win the division, but the wild card isn't out of reach for them.
  20. Matt Harrington has one of the most "interesting" draft histories ever Drafted: Selected by Colorado Rockies in 1st Round (7th overall) of 2000 amateur entry draft (June-Reg) ... Selected by San Diego Padres in 2nd Round (58th overall) of 2001 amateur entry draft (June-Reg) ... Selected by Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 13rd Round (374th overall) of 2002 amateur entry draft (June-Reg) ... Selected by Cincinnati Reds in 24th Round (711st overall) of 2003 amateur entry draft (June-Reg) ... Selected by New York Yankees in 36th Round (1089th overall) of 2004 amateur entry draft (June-Reg) Selected by Best Buy in 1st Round of 2005 Job Fair
  21. how about the Reds in 2008? probable 2nd place finisher and wild card contender is the way I see things unfolding, despite dugout dice throwing toothpick chewer
  22. Vina gushed about him because he's a "table setter/catalyst/etc.", all the things he envisioned himself as being during his playing days. This is the same as Schlereth fixated on offensive linemen, Jaworski fixated on QBs, Brantley fixated on closers and so on.
  23. i'm mostly indifferent to him, and there's a LOT of announcers i'd less rather listen to.
