  1. my god the Thunder are without a doubt the worst team in basketball
  2. that'd be a terrible appropriation of what little payroll flexibility we have left to deal with
  3. i was referring to Kaman btw
  4. bring on bj mullens! either that or try to swing a trade for Kaman
  5. the Bulls certainly have the market cornered for ugly Centers
  6. Out of this group, only Sizemore really has an argument unless you completely discount position. i definitely contend Mauer has a legitimate argument, leading the AL in WPA by a wide margin, playing C at a GG level
  7. Bartlett got a 5th place vote, hilarious Hamilton finished 7th, i feel like i'm Kurt Russell in Miracle and the BBWAA are the CCCP
  8. at least it wasn't Youkilis
  9. It's easy to forget he made the All-Star game with the Marlins way back in the beginning of the decade. Only two above-average years in his career. that's simply wrong 05
  10. no it isn't, it's been mentioned a million times
  11. Del Rio has no business on this list and Marinelli is far and away tops. Turner has never systematically purged any of his teams of all talent to suit an antiquated style of football.
  12. they're hot after Cruz too. building a BP through FA is poor management but they've picked the two best bargains to pursue.
  13. it really is for a player that contributes so little in other areas of the game his AST/TO is 3rd worst amongst starting PGs btw
  14. also, Detroit has zero chance of winning a game this year. every year the losery teams with nothing to lose start abandoning their gameplan midway through the season adding onside kicks and aggressive playcalls into the mix attempting to sneak out a victory, but Marinelli is just too stubborn with his "pound the rock, defensive execution" ideology to try it. and they are physically outclassed every single game; they're not going to get a gamechanging performance by an underperforming talent. i'll be taking bets with whoever disagrees.
  15. Panthers looked really good, Andy i know they beat a miserable team by a closer margin than they should have, but they asserted control the entire second half and the Lions had several fortunate breaks in the first half the Lions loaded up the box and Carolina still ran for 264; that's domination
  16. Rudy Fernandez probably will have the best PER among rookies; what he has done is sustainable. i just think it's a highly flawed way of evaluating players, in it's current form. Mayo's also not on a team that's much worse than Rose, and neither are really padding their stats because of it, they're both playing with very good efficiency.
  17. the Bears are who we thought they were!
  18. well in that case Rose isn't in the top 5; he's behind Speights, Morrow, Anderson, Rudy and McGee terrible argument. at any rate, i was stating a case that it's nowhere near a sure thing he'll win, at this point it's a close race, much closer than Bulls fans realize
  19. hard to do when there's another rookie who's 26/4.5/3 with nearly 3 threes per game on over 48% FG in his past 6
  20. you're being generous; i don't really think anybody shooting 37% with an ungodly 2.8 TO can be classified as 'playing great'.
  21. what did he have in April, a 14 APG average? i can't figure out why he's still behind Ridnour on the depth chart
  22. and with Tocchet taking over; I'd love to see his effect on Downie
