I don't know how anyone could still argue that trading Lee for Pods was a good move. fwiw, using the WAR figures, there was merely a 3 run margin between the two players in '05 -

Sheets is out of our price range now, but I'd have greatly preferred to give him ~2/30 before going 4 years for Dempster; he's really not much riskier imo. you've got Marshall, Atkins and grab Paul Byrd or something for like 2m to give you close to league-average innings if/when Harden and Sheets take their 15 day trainers room respites. -
