  1. yes, we know
  2. UZR has Vlad's arm being worth a full win in '02 that's unfathomable
  3. Antwan Barnes, Donald Butler (Tommie Harris too, albeit situationally)
  4. i'd put Soriano at first to preserve his legs
  5. move over, Tyree http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d8240f301/Penalty-denies-Baldwin-s-amazing-catch
  6. oh man, i'd be all about Hong-Chih Kuo and Andrew Miller
  7. don't be asinine, Starks has induced missed tackles at an elite rate, even better than Adrian Peterson he's definitely an above-average RB
  8. um...
  9. Shaun Phillips is supposed to come back this week. isnt McNeil out? this could be a 13-9 type of game Brandyn Dombrowski allowed 4 sacks and another 10 pressures, mostly to Kamerion Wimbley, last week and had a similarly nightmarish day against Chris Clemons last season (2 sacks, 16 pressures) when forced into duty if McNeill is out, the Chargers probably haven't a prayer of beating a team with a competent pass rush
  10. and chop blocks, too like i said, i didn't see those plays but i have a suspicion you may be quibbling a bit on the descriptions, considering a brief regrettable foray into the Bears game threads each week brings up countless sulleymon calls for fouls not being called (against only the opponent) the impartial third party observers in this thread can rightly act as the voice of reason on these plays
  11. then every sack is an attempt to injure! the Fairley play was way late, and the one dirty play i've seen from the game on our part, but attempt to injure seems like a major stretch
  12. I watch them all the time and enjoy teasing a friend of mine who is all self conscious about how the league treats the Steelers. Even they aren't anywhere near as dirty as the Lions have shown to be. "So it's going to turn into if you're going to fine me $40,000, I might as well put him to sleep for real or I might as well blow his knee out." - Ryan Clark i'd pull up a bunch of James Harrison quotes too if i thought you might be capable of reasoning with on this matter really, where were these absurd histrionics when Meriweather ran across the field to spear Burleson in the helmet after the play during the first meeting?
  13. I watch a lot of Steelers games. For whatever reason, they get scheduled out here all the time. But I don't see the cheap plays/players with them at the level I see with Detroit. Sure, everyone hates Ben the Rapist, but that's really about it. and as far as cheap shots, you didn't see Suh rip Cutlers helmet off? Or Fatty Matty tackle Moore by the helmet? Why do in-game skirmishes follow this team everywhere? I'm sure its JUST coincidence, right? we've had one this year, yesterday Suh's tackle of Cutler by the head was nearly identical to the Peppers tackle on Calvin, i could have seen a PF flag coming out for both, but they were more pace of the game than intent
  14. The next guy who should be brought in is Schwartz. Because it's pretty clear to me this is ultimately coming from him. ...Schwartz was with Suh, and it was Suh who requested the meeting to get a better understanding behind a couple of his fines also, lots of psychotic frothing on this page alone, good lord, people I have watched a lot of football over the years without having to complain about how dirty the other team plays. Your team is easily the dirtiest in football right now. i invite you to watch a Steelers game sometime, really any Steelers game, come on
  15. The next guy who should be brought in is Schwartz. Because it's pretty clear to me this is ultimately coming from him. ...Schwartz was with Suh, and it was Suh who requested the meeting to get a better understanding behind a couple of his fines also, lots of psychotic frothing on this page alone, good lord, people people tend to get touchy when they see a team intentionally trying to injure their franchise quarterback. it'll be easier for you to understand if/when your team gets one. i wasn't able to see the 2nd half, but caught the high lowlights was there anything besides the Fairley late hit (which really wasn't much of an attempt to injure)?
  16. good, it was premature (why do you people care so much about meaningless [expletive] like this??) we'll be a really good team in time, but Stafford will have to make major strides in throwing under pressure; he's just been terrible for the most part there

  18. holy [expletive] Gregg Williams, they're picking up your blitzes every single time stop with it already
  19. the Broncos have 2 completed passes to 54 rushes, so awesome
  20. Brees and Colston just won't be denied on 3rd downs
  21. Saints now 0-10 on coin tosses this season
  22. ah yes the trulon henry special
  23. yeah, he'll likely flip it to the refs like he does most every other TD
  24. forgot Ohio State, probably
