  1. congrats to LeBron James on his recent engagement and to his fiancee who now leads the family with 1 ring
  2. It's hilarious that you think Theo negotiates with MLB GMs the same way used car salesmen negotiate with welfare mothers HS dropouts for 10 year old Civics
  3. he had a 107.7 rating in the first game (and a broken finger throwing in a stiff wind the second game)
  4. except it's well known that's exactly how he operates
  5. man, i'm loving Trey Burke these days; great to win against a good opponent even when Hardaway and Smotrycz aren't contributing anything offensively 27 pts on 8 shots, not bad for a 3 star frosh
  6. with 520 yards today, Stafford amassed the 5th highest yardage for a game (NFL season high) in NFL history, and just the 4th QB in history with 5,000 yards in a season
  7. (it's not really the QB) and we hadn't won in 20 years, well 21 now
  8. glad we won't have to see Flynn in the playoffs
  9. 1st game in NFL history both QBs throw for 400+ yards and 5 TDs
  10. oh look, refs with another clueless display in this game
  11. Vikings could use a starter
  12. i know that's supposed to be impressive, but he and Rodgers are playing in such beefed up passing offenses it's hard to be much in awe i really think at least half the QBs in the league could easily top 4500 yards with Sproles, Colston, Graham, Moore, etc. and the offensive line NO has and look at what Flynn is doing today to provide some context for Rodgers' ridiculous season
  13. Jordy Nelson is an annoyingly great player
  14. allowing the backup QB to throw for 280 yards and three scores in just a half of play is a bit of a concern looking ahead to the playoffs
  15. man, that was quite a slice on the FG attempt
  16. i'm not even alleging any malfeasance either, they're just hopelessly inept a flat-out miss on a TD catch...excessive celebration to a guy laying on the ground from fatigue? two clear ground-caused fumbles blatantly missed
  17. refs are not seeing anything right today; just embarrassing
  18. CJ over Rice and McCoy at #4 was pretty regrettable, as was Rivers over Brady in the 2nd i killed it in the later rounds and got to the championship game where the aforementioned players laid eggs
  19. their rotation's set with Verlander, Fister, Scherzer, Porcello, Turner, so i wouldn't much understand the Tigers having serious interest in Garza, but refusing to part with Turner, unless of course it's Porcello they want to leverage (doubtful)
  20. truffle likely also yelled out that part of the sentence really loudly when he re-typed it too
  21. lol, "a decent platoon outfielder", maybe the very definition of damning with faint praise
  22. this Baylor game is like watching Michigan's Greg Robinson-coached defenses again
  23. yes, and i don't want any part of Drabek either
  24. here's a good explanation for his K totals: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/2011/12/14/gose_feature/
  25. playoffs, baby!
