  1. Can't find his stats.
  2. Yes. I want to see a championship, but I want them to beat Lebron. I want to see this brand of basketball succeed. Getting a championship via Lebron would feel like sleeping with a hooker. A bald hooker.
  3. The question is, is there anyone you trade Rizzo straight up for?
  4. Well the D, anyhow. Noah can't do it alone. Thibs system requires everyone on a string. Not saying there aren't lots of guys who can do that, but Jimmy and Taj WILL do it, and Jimmy will do it for 48 minutes. They can also switch onto almost anyone and guard multiple positions in iso situations. Rose/Snell/Dunleavy/Love/Noah? Now we're trying to outscore everyone. And we have no bench.
  5. Norris and Pompey were the two Toronto guys I had been looking at. Like them both a lot. Nobody else above high A is very interesting, though. Matt Boyd (2013 6th round LHP) has very similar numbers to Norris ( K 30% BB 5%) in High A but he's two years older and needs to start moving up. Was really hoping to get an MLB ready OF out of Shark, but that looks unlikely.
  6. Adding Love would be great. Gutting the team (Taj and Buckets) for him seems bad. We need to add offense to our vaunted D, not trade one for the other. Taj Jimmy and Noah were finally going to start games together. I want to see that. We could keep them, keep a draft pick and S&T Boozer and the other pick (for Afflalo?) to keep our exceptions. That allows us to bring over Mirotic, bring back Augustin and grab another scorer (Warren?) in the draft Rose/D.J Afflalo/Snell Buckets/Dunleavy/Warren Taj/Mirotic Noah/Smith That is better than the 2011 Playoff roster that was two baskets away from being up 3-2 on the Heat.
  7. Taj/Buckets/16th/19th would leave us with Rose Snell Dunleavy Love Noah with a bench of Smith/Nazr with the MLE and BLE left to use, is this right?
  8. He and Gallo are in a league of their own. I really think Bryant should get some consideration for #1 overall, Ks be damned.
  9. I like to think about Tanaka in there instead of Jackson. Alcantara up, snagging another OF bat sometime this month. Really think we could have been making noise right now. Never could have guessed so many things would go so well, though. Rizzo, Castro, Valbuena, Hammel, Arrieta, Shark all having fantastic seasons.
  10. Seems to me they're going for plan B. Afflalo is exactly the guy I thought they would pursue before Melo became a thing. Something like Afflalo/Mirotic/Blatche with a Boozer amnesty is an off-season I could live with. Rose/Hinrich Afflalo/pick Butler/Dunleavy Gibson/Mirotic Noah/Blatche Or I suppose this could be step 1 in a Love deal, but I kind of doubt it.
  11. Speaking of Milwaukee, Shawn Zarraga is quite a story. 25 yr old switch hitting catcher in AA who has only 1152 PAs over eight seasons. He lost 25 lbs. in the offseason and well.......... 187 PAs .392/.489/.514 BB 16% K 5.9% <-----I mean........... BABIP .12 higher than his average. Gallo and Bryant are the only legit prospects who have higher wOBAs.
  12. Clint Coulter and Jorge Lopez would be great.
  13. I really want to see what happens when this guy gets called up. Is he a pitching genius? I just don't get it.
  14. It's too bad we've given over 700 ABs to guys with sub .600 OPS. Everyone hates on Lake, and I'll be happy myself when we can replace him, but he has the 5th best wOBA on the team. Replacing Barney and Schierholtz with even slightly positive players would make such a difference.
  15. Castros OPS now higher than Tulo's away from Coors.
  16. This is true of all professoinal gamblers, of which none are successful. Haralabos Voulgaris That's got to be a made-up name. I know the guy.
  17. Andreoli is 5 for his last 67 and he's an all-star. I am the guy's biggest fan, but he is in the midst of an epic free fall.
  18. Understandable. That's what I like about the Bundy/Harvey combo. Lots of ceiling and we still get a guy who can contribute right away.
  19. Another tear, Javy, come on.
  20. You don't like Hunter Harvey? And for me its pretty much Betts or bust with the Red Sox.
  21. Didn't even realize the Phillies had no hits until they got one.
  22. In that first AAA start, Aaron Sanchez allowed 10 baserunners in 4 innings. Don't care how many ground balls the guy gets he just isn't effective.
