    I think an even better comparison might be Furcal vs Todd Walker. It was widely speculated that Hendry was going to add Pierre whether or not he signed Furcal. Ronny would likely have ended up at 2B with Walker being the odd man out.

    Only if we'd get better (or at least equal) value from another team as compared to what we'd get from the Sox.NO!! I would be willling to get a little less in return from another team as long as the players would make a good impact, than help out the White Sox and get some players who are only a little better. It's the principles. NO!! It's not the principles. It's about maximizing the talent on your roster, not settling some silly personal vendetta.

Yes, and he ended every song with "stop sucking you worthless sons of..." then dumped a full beer on the crowd. Piven's really getting a bad rap.

    I caught a moment of Phil on the radio earlier (I believe 720), and he said it was too bad Hendry "got caught without" another 5-10 million this past offseason to work with. Got caught?!?!?! Brilliant!

    I think you may see Nevin get about 40% of the playing time. Who DH's for the inter-league games? Who cares? None of them can hit.

    I don't know what his stats were, but going off memory alone I think Mel Rojas would be tough to beat in the "worst pitcher" category. His ERA+ was 97. As bad as he was, he was far from the worst. That whole pitching staff was pathetic.
