    Yeah, I'm not liking this deal the more I think about it. I'd rather have Jacque in CF than Jennings in the rotation. Rearrange some of those names and give me Maholm + Hawpe for Jones + Marmol. Think that'd work?

    Jennings is overrated on this board. He is not that good of a pitcher in my book. You could probably get the same production out of Jason Marquis. Marquis is very similiar to Jennings in his style of pitching. The style may be the same, but the results are much different.

    There goes one option. he's who I wanted of the not-Schmidt set. second time around the scroll didn't say anything, but I am 100% positive it said it a few minutes ago. Rosenthal is reporting that Maddux is very close to signing with the Padres. So maybe the pitchers are going to go fast. Meche and Marquis will be ours in no time.

    6 team playoff using the current BCS -- #1 and #2 get a bye. A total of 4 games played, therefore all current BCS locations will still host a BCS bowl with the championship game rotating as it does today.

    Efficient? It takes him sooo many pitches per plate appearance just to get his thing done. Now Juan Pierre, that guy was efficient! You see the way he grounded out to second on the first pitch? Phenomenal! If I had any sort of photoshop skills, I would have stuck a "43" on the back of Pierre's jersey a long time ago. Perhaps "effective" would have been a better description?     That's just crazy talk. It's not really that much of a stretch if Murton can start putting up his post ASB numbers on a consistent basis. He was every bit as good as Dunn offensively in the 2nd half, provides much better defense, and costs a whole lot less.

    The outs he makes by striking out are already accounted for in his OBP and SLG, therefore they cannot negate whatever OBP and SLG he has at the end of the season. The cookie stand counts as an eatery, the eatery is apart of the food court! Eateries that operate within the designated square downstairs count as food court. Anything outside, of said designated square, counts as an autonomous unit for mid-mall snacking.
