    That's a real good rotation...when healthy. You really can't count on Beckett being healthy for a full year and Schilling has had some pretty serious injuries the last couple of years as well. But when that rotation is 100% and if they were to make the playoffs with all of those guys healthy, that would be an extremely dangerous rotation to face in a best of 5 and a best of 7. Their offense would take a huge hit if they trade Manny, though. Ortiz, Drew, and who else?I can't remember what's going on with their lineup, but I think they'd need a great staff. They have the OBP monster, Youkilis, they also have Varitek, Pena, Crisp, and Lowe. If they had that pitching staff, I think they're offense would be good enough. A lineup (as it would be now) something like: Crisp-CF Youkilis-1B Ortiz-DH Drew-RF Lowe-3B Pena-LF Varitek-C Cora-SS Pedroia-2B Not what they've had in the past, but not too bad. Do you mean Lowell?

Wow. colon already punched a fellow teammate in the weight room, according to reports. sounds like a class act. oh, and he's most definitely a huggy recruit. Huggins wasn't going to offer him a scholarship until Colon punched him in the face and slapped his own momma.

    If he failed because he was out of shape, yeah you make a good point. But this is because of his shoulder. Yeah, this isn't everybody line up for the turn your head and cough, then take your blood pressure physical you get in high school. They take a pretty serious look at the dude's shoulder and Joe's can't be pretty. I'll bet it's every bit as ugly as the landfills he grew up in.

    He was born with a loose shoulder, nobody caused that. However, that laxity, when coupled with overuse as a pitcher, makes it much easier for his current problems to surface.

    I think it's more realistic that Hendry sees only his 258 avg and that it was only 222 with RISP.

    They're looking at every possibility, including putting Jock there. Nothing is firm yet as trades take a lot more work than do free-agent signings. Even Bruce does it...

    how long would it have been before Matzualphabet was FA? I think after the 2008 season? Someone here probably has a better idea. Correct. He didn't have enough service time to be eligible until then.
